Rainbow Retard Got Scots For a second I thought about whether this qualified as a "fanfiction" category but... then I realized the people who write these books are fans too! So... has anybody read any of the Doctor Who books? I just got two for Christmas (which was really cool because the don't sell here in the US). I got The Stone Rose and Feast of the Drowned. I'm also in the middle of reading Clockwise Man which is pretty good. I've only read the Feast of the Drowned. (Hey, spoilers are about to be listed, so watch out fools!!!)
I loved the bit where the Doctor gets all angry/sumo/i'm gonna kill everyone in sight after seeing Rose's spirit thingy.
It's so sad that Rose dies and turns into a fishy thing. Ew.
But I loved Vida and the sailor dude. He was coolio.
And I hated Keishaaaa or whatever her name is. UGLEH. Well, actually, I don't know what she looks like...but she sounds ugly so BACK OFF FOOL!
Anyway, I lurved it. Lots. But it needed more Ten/Rose shippy-fluffy stuff. Cha.
So the end, ok?
(Spoilers are over OKAY??)
So yeah, I read that book. It was pretty rad. Everyone should read it. (Every Whovian, I mean.) Yes, I said Whovian...(at least I'm not a Trekkie.)
And I like to stare at the pic of David Tennant on the front cover. *drools* Ohhhhhyaa. Scottishness is lufferly. (I've got pics of him in a kilt saved on my computer!!!) I actually saw a pic of John Barrowman in a kilt once, too. (Weird?) Is he really Scottish??
Ohwell, I'll stop now. no John Barrowman is american, just gay...hence the whole kilt thing

bad-wolf-bay no John Barrowman is american, just gay...hence the whole kilt thing Actually, John was born in Glasgow. He moved over to Illinois with his family when he was a child. He developed the American accent so he could fit in with the accents of the other pupils at his school. He still speaks in a Scottish accent sometimes, for example on the DVD commentary for "The Doctor Dances".

I have all the Nine ones and almost all the Ten and Rose ones, with two Ten and Martha ones. I haven't read Stone Rose, but I've heard DT read it on the Radio Times thing. It didn't confuse me, but they were edited a lot... There were some I read in the library as well. xD. The Ten/ Martha ones I have are Wooden Heart and Wetworld, but I've only just got Wetworld yesterday so I haven't read it yet. If I have money left over from all the CDs I want I'll get some more after Christmas. xD.

WUVZ Y3W MOAR Anakoreta Man... I really wanna read the books. gonk
But considering the fact that I live in the States make the chance of getting them close to zero. And considering that I basically the only DW fan I know where I live besides a friend or two, I doubt I could find anyone to borrow one from...
Or... I could just go to the bookstore and spend 3 hours searching for something they probably don't even have. I'd love to the clerk's reaction on asking them if they have any Doctor Who books.. Order off Amazon fool!Sorry, no credit card or paypal or whatever else.. I can't order off any website... *sob*
Hee. *imagines going into random bookstore and asking for DW* There's actually this one used bookstore in VA Beach with old DW books. I've got three now, but they had at least 50 the last time I checked. (which was probably last year) Unfortunately no new series versions are there. >>;
