Jayme's room has the basic four walls painted a bright orange color with black swirls intertwining themselves. The bedspread is a bubbly blue-green color with about a 10 different size and shaped pillows piled on top of the bed. There are see-through star and moon, color changing curtains hanging up. And at the entrance are beads that make a picture of the sun and moon. On top of the dresser are several picture frames and other little knick knacks, including a jewelry box and a picture of Michael and herself. A single poster hangs above the bed of a lake and a waterfall. Reflected in the lake are the stars that form two sides of a person. One side appears evil and the other good.

James entered her dorm and plopped down on the comfy bed. She grabbed a pillow and pulled it close to her, squeezing it tightly. She looked up at Malachai who had followed her into the room. 'Why do I feel this way? Michael. Malachai.' Her heart beat fast and she felt weak.
Malachai stepped into the room and took a gander at the room. 'It's so girlish, yet it has a feel about it of complete strength.' Malachai drifted closer towards James. He took her hand and gave it a light kiss. "Goodnight, my princess." His voice was smooth and sultry. He was really laying on the magic.
James heart skipped a few beats. "Goodnight, my prince." She smiled at the word prince.
Malachai glided out of the room and silently shut the door. He disappeared down the hall.
James fell backwards onto her back and lay quite still. Her mind was racing. Soon enough she fell asleep and dreamed.

'Malachai stood next to Michael, towering over him. His hand outstretched towards James as he called to her, "Jayme Ellisine, princess of my kingdom. Come with me, my queen." Suddenly James floating on the air with Michael at her side, fueling warmth and goodness into her, yet Malachai's face appeared everywhere. Michael released her crying out, "Kaji!" before vanishing completely. James' body rushed towards the ground, but instead of earth, there was an ocean of darkness. Her body plunged into it and she gasped for breath. Her body split and she became two; evil and good. Malachai took her hand, leaving behind the evil, and brought her in front of a council. Placed upon her head by an unknown woman, was a wreath of tiger lillies, the sign of marriage. Time passed before her eyes and before James knew it, there was a child skipping about her and Malachai was commanding armies. The happiness was shattered when an army of angels came down from the heavens and pulled her away from her family. Michael had returned to take away her bliss, yet she thanked him. James watched as Malachai was murdered with his own sword and their child was left to drown in the watery darkness.' James awoke suddenly to the sound of her own screaming, shortly after realizing she had been the one yelling bloody murder.
Malachai had heard the torturous screams and rushed to James' side, flinging the door wide open and grasping her hand in his. "What is the matter sweet one?" He was surprisingly full of concern.
James swung her head in his direction. "It was just a dream. What time is it?" She glanced at her clock and jumped off the bed. "I need to get back to class. Are you enrolled in the weapons class?"
Malachai smiled. "Yes, I am. I will accompany you to the class then." Malachai took James by the arm and escorted her out of the room.

James led Seishou back to her dormroom so the two could hang out some more. The entire way back, they had talked about most everything. James opened the door and walked straight over to her bed with Seishou at her heels.
"I can't believe you are the spirit of my birth forest. No wonder we have a close connection."
"Yes, it is quite miraculous." Seishou plopped down on the bed, taking notice of the poster. "Did you paint this?"
James whirled her head about, seeing what Seishou was speaking of. "Yes. I saw the lake one night, hidden away by rocky walls and I knew it was two people at war with one another. It reminded me of myself actually. That's why I added the stars of two." James smiled a half-smile at the painting and looked away from it, not wanting to tear up from the rest of the story.
Seishou saw her reaction and changed the subject. "How will you catch the one of true love that you desire with the deepest passion of your soul?" She was speaking of Michael of course.

Jayme chuckled softly. "You sure do have a way with words and knowing everything about a girl! I haven't the slightest idea. I don't think he still cares for me the same way." She glanced away, resting her eyes on the picture she had of Michael and herself. That was a happy day.
"You would be surprised by what he feels I am sure." Seishou smiled warmly. "Shall we go for another walk? My legs are becoming quite restless." She popped up, yet it was in such a graceful motion, one would have thought she was born a ballerina.
Jayme shot up as well, glad for a change of scenery. "Ya! Let's go!" The two stepped out of the room and Jayme shut the door.

So much had happened in just a day's time. Seishou was dead, Malachai her murderer had fled, and Michael had left that demon to be with Jayme again. Jayme felt content, however there was this little voice in the back of her mind saying this isn't how it's suppose to be. She thought back to her dream about her future with Malachai and pondered over its significance to her life, but nothing seemed to fit. In her frustration, Jayme rolled from her stomach to her back gazing up at the poster that hung above her bed. Somehow she didn't feel like either of the two images. She was suspended in limbo, with bits of her soul seeping from her in every which way. Her whole mind began to get sucked into the painting, losing focus on the world around her. Suddenly, as if her connection was simply cut, Jayme emerged from her trance with only one thought. 'Go to the courtyard.'
