A Spoonful of Agent

((*SHOT FOR THAT TITLE* 8D;;;; ))

It couldn't be that bad. After all, paopu fruits only bound two people together if they both ate a piece of it. As long as she ate the entire thing by herself, Spoon would have no problems. Of course, this meant that she had to keep an eye on the fruit at all times. The court had ordered her to take it, anyway. But why had they refused to tell her where they got it? Probably because she would be there only a heartbeat after the moment they told her. There was no way they could keep her from that. And if the medicine worked (though she half-wished it wouldn't), then she wouldn't be so obsessed with Kingdom Hearts anymore. So far, it didn't seem to be working, though she couldn't expect results only a little while after she took it.

In her hands she held a Gameboy. Spoonful had already been through the game a few times, but there could be something that she missed. A small detail in the dialogue between Larxene and Marluxia, a clue as to why Marluxia, of all Nobodies, was put in charge of Castle Oblivion. Not that the Superior really needed a reason. Maybe if she'd looked up from the screen, she would have been able to see the people walking past telling her to watch it. In her pocket she kept a paopu fruit. If it'd been in her hands, she might have crushed it.

"Almost... Almost..." She spoke softly, trying desperately to finish off the battle. Reverse/Rebirth could wait a little while, as long as she managed to finish the fight. Then she could get to Riku again.

(( Add me to the posting order. x3' ::watches to see who all comes:: ))

Autumn sat in the middle of the sidewalk, watching Ati, who was trying to stop a bug from going into the street. He had been at it for a good 15 minutes....especially since he couldn't touch said bug.

"Please, sir..."he was saying, You will be crushed!

"Ati..." Autumn sighed, shaking her head, but ddn't go any farther with that sentence. She was in an admittedly bad mood, having been placed on yet another medication....this time, some sort of...fruit? It was strange, and star-shaped, anyway, and called a pao...pow....pa-something. She didn't see why she had to take it in the first place, anyway!

((sorry for shortpost. xD; ::sucks at firstpostses:: ))

((Add me! XD ))

Manda was walking along down the other side of that street, trying rather unsuccesfully to get her collection of muses to leave her alone. Ka kept on turning her head to literally stare at the cars ... as if she'd never seen such a thing before. He hadn't, but ... she had.

"Would you please stop it? They're just cars, Ka. They're all over the damn place," she muttered, turning to cross the street. In doing so, she accidentally ended up stepping on that bug, as she couldn't see its protector anyway and wasn't paying much attention.

"And Ciar, quit baiting him!" she snapped then, tired of listening to them snipe at each other.

((Sure. XD So far, it's: Agent, Aut, then Manda. <3))

Spoon looked up from her game for a second. Before that, though, she paused it so that the progress she'd made since she left the house wouldn't be completely lost. Someone in front of her had spoken aloud, much louder than she would have liked. Her empty pocket quickly became the new shelter for her hand-held system. The other, fruit-filled pocket was the one who became empty in its place. Spoon did have to take it, after all, even if it was in public. And anyway, it was a type of fruit, so no one would know she was taking her medicine. Or that she needed it.

Her eyes looks around for a moment as she tried to figure out who the woman was talking to. Addressing Manda, she asked, "Are you all right?" There was no one around other than the second woman near her. And the way she was talking, it seemed that she was talking to two people instead of one. That was... Completely out of the ordinary.

Ati wailed as the bug was stepped on, standing to first attempt to bop Manda (a failed attempt, of course, since his fist went right through her) and then dash to hide behind Aut.

Aut, however, had her eyes glued on the fruit in the hands of the person in front of her. Rising to her feet, she pointed to it. "Excuse me, miss..." she offered softly, gaze never leaving the fruit. "But...what's that you're holding? I..." she fished her own yellow fruit from her bag and showed it to her, smiling meekly. "You see....I've one too."

Manda jumped, startled out of how own thoughts at being adressed by someone else. And she flushed slightly, glancing down. "Erm ... yea. Sorry ..." she murmured. Greaaaaaat, more people to think she was crazy. Better take some of those new pills as soon as she got home. Good idea, yes.

And she blinked then, noticing they both had weird star-shaped fruits of some kind. A type she'd never seen before. "What are those?" she asked, without thinking - and trying to ignore yet another one of those voices in her head ... this one at least was quieter. Talking about some sort of pow-thing.

((Demyx-muse, yes. XD ))

Spoon smiled and nodded to the second girl who had been speaking with herself, apparently. But she couldn't knock it until she had tried it -though she didn't exactly plan to. "Just making sure." Taking a bite of the fruit that she had taken out of her pocket. Now, it was no longer shaped exactly like a star. One of the points was missing. But it didn't taste too bad, really. This was before she noticed that the other girl had one of them as well. "Huh? You have a paopu?" She showed her own partially-devoured one. Although they weren't exactly the same, they were definitely the same fruit. "But why?" She questioned. It couldn't be for the same reason that she'd been ordered to have it. "These are both Paopu fruits. They're shaped like stars, as you can see. Supposedly, if two people eat one, their destinites are intertwined." She nodded quickly.

((You gotta love the Demyx-muse. XD))

"What happens if only one person eats it?" Autumn asked, eyes wide. She didn't like the concept of her destiny being affected by anybody..destiny was one thing that gave her security, in knowing that nothing could change it. Now she was supposed to believe that this..Pow...pow-o...this stare-shaped fruit would change the unchangeable? That wasn't fair! Letting out a whimper of distress, Autumn clutched her fruit to herself, suddenly very worried that somebody would try and steal a bite of her destiny-fruit.

"Auuuut~" Ati whined, still upset over the death of the bug. He was now trying (and failing) to scoop it up so that he could give it its proper burial...Autumn lost more and more matchboxes that way. Lesigh. But what could she do? If she refused to bury the buggies, Ati would cry, and she hated upsetting the little see-through boy.

On second thought ... maybe she'd better start taking the medicine as soon as possible. Because by this point, those voices were starting to get really annoying. Demyx was now actually louder - trying to explain something about the fruits, but she wasn't inclined to listen to him at the moment. And he was usually so quiet!

" 'Scuse me for juuust a minute," she murmured, and went around the two to run inside a shop and get a glass of water - quickly downing a couple of those pills. After that, she went back to find Autumn apparently looking at the empty air. Erm. Ok. "I guess ... if you're supposed to eat those ... you should eat them?" she tried, looking from one of them to the other.

"So far... Nothing's happened. Nothing good, nothing bad. It's pretty useless, actually. Considering why they're making me take it, it's probably just a trick thing with a bunch of medication in it." For the first time since she'd recieved the first paopu, she thought about it being fake. At first, she had not doubted that it was a paopu frit -now, she was very much unsure. "You're excused." She said shortly, following the other woman with her eyes for only a short while.

She held the fruit in her hand tightly, nearly squishing it. She watched where Aut's eyes went, only to find a dead bug. Was it really that interesting? Of course, the fac tthat Ati was invisible to her didn't help. "Yeah, I guess we should. As long as no one else eats a piece of it. I don't know about you, ma'am, but I definitely don't want to find out first hand if they're real or not."
