4Kids dropped One Piece...
F***- Yeah!!!
It's a Christmas Miracle! Sorry that I'm over excited, but this is like, the best christmas present I got this year.
I'm serious. Finding out 4kids isn't dubbing One Piece is the Best Thing I got. The second best is Final Fantasy III. I have to buy my own Wii...

Unfortunately the same can't be said for Pokemon... I'm sorry, but the voices are just terrible!!!

Care to argue that?
No, they aren't as good as the old ones, but new doesn't mean bad. I even think that May's voice is better. The new voice actors are doing a really good job, and they've improved much over the course of the battle frontier so far.
And by the way, 4kids DID drop pokemon, so we really could say the same thing...

One thing that really bothers me is that May became stronger than Ash. Come on, Ash has way more experience and is a way better trainer. Yet, May is in the two in the Grand Championship and Ash only makes it to the top -what? 8 or something? Of course, I guess Pokemon coordinating isn't as competitive as the regular leagues.
Still, I didn't like May, or her annoying little brother. So yes, I am extremely happy that she is getting dropped next season. Ha ha ha.

By the way, I agree with you that the new voice actors are improving. You should watch the first few episodes or Pokemon again, the voices are awkward.

Well, Pokemon Contests are basicly the Pokemon League for trainers who suck. That's just the truth of it. May does so well because it's so pathetic. The pokemon league apoints 'powerful' trainers thier position, so there's actually a set standard for the skill needed to enter the tourny at the end.
Contests, have the apeal round, which is as easy as using two attacks at once, or actually controling the attack instead of hurling it at another pokemon to hurt them. No main character, rival, or character of the day than have ever failed to pass the first round.(Eh, spoilers just in case someone hasn't stopped reading by now) Yes, that includes Ash. Twice.
After that pittiful round, it's a standard tourney. It doesn't demonstrate actual skill, it demonstrates it in comparison to other people like yourself. A ribbon is worth the same, even if the one you got in a contest filled with 2 year olds. It's no less valuable than one you win against people with skill.
And just like May, Hikari made it to the final round during her first contest. The producers think that making her lose makes it more realistic. Peshaw!
As for May being stronger than Ash, No way. There's too much to consider. In the only battle they ever had, Ash was stacking against a big type disadvantage, and it was one on one. Ash and May got Treecko and Torchic around the same time, so it's likely they are close in level. Ash still tied. He proved equal when on terms shifted against him. That's a win in my book.
But what we should really be disscussing, is Shini's voice actor. His Jap. voice is pretty sick if I don't say so myself. It's too bad they're going to dub over the coolness that bleeds out of him.
God I hope he gets a good VA...
