For now, this rp will be limited to the Forod keep and grounds. Expansion is always an option, however it requires enough people to make good use of it.

This is the keep, in depth:

Any locations you wish to make should be on the island, with the exception of the Forest. Pm me with your concept for a thread, and what you'd put in the first post, and if it fits it can be added to the rp.

The larger mythose as created by me with elements from many books and places. I recommend the Wheel of time by Robert Jordan and Tolkin's LOTR as they have both had a influence on this and me. However there are a great many other works that details and ideas are being pulled from as well.

Anyway, the back ground and larger picture that the rp exists within is as follows.

Forod keep is a small Northern most holding of the state of Athan-Kemen, a rather large and somewhat unstable monarchy. There are several large nobel clans who are in a constant power struggle, all of whom hold some degree of royal blood. When a monarch dies it can go form back room deals, right to civil war to see who gets the throne, depending on the situation.

However, Forod is well removed for the scheming and plotting of the capital. The only good way south is Ereb Cirith, the mountain road. (I will draw a map at some point) Till then, the lay out around Forod is rolling hill and is located on a large inland sea, with only a signal connection to the coast. (When I say large I mean Caspian Sea size).

It looks like this:

The road isn't passable for parts of the year, due to an almost east-west mountain range is between Forod and the capitol. The reason Forod exsists is two fold. The first would be for the raising of sheep and cattle to some extent. The second is as an early warning system. In the distant past there was an invasion form the sea, and then south. It was bad yada yada. later repeled back, keep set up as an early warnign system, rather than as a major defensive out post.
