Well, this is a Science Fiction story I'm doing. I'm planning on using this post for updates, and miscellaneous information.
Format:
The following 6 posts will be for the Prologue and five 'chapters'. When these are filled, I will move to another thread so that this one doesn't get cluttered. So, enjoy.
Disclaimer: I am VERY well aware that I used the word "Tail" instead of "Tale" in the title. This is just me being either me or a nutjob. I've yet to determine which.

PROLOGUE
'Why do these things always happen to ME?'
The ship buckled under Haley's feet as he ran for the Bridge. Things were not going well.
'Why, oh why, oh why?'
Red lights were flashing everywhere, the ship was starting to rip itself apart.
'Come on, baby, almost there.'
'Damn! Why doesn't anything work around here?'
'For the love of God, shut up! Ah, there it is!'
Haley approached the door to the Bridge, expecting it to open. He was only mildly surprised that it didn't.
Haley struggled with the manual override for the door. He was violently thrown down as the ship rocked again.
'Ah Ha! Almost got it...'
Haley burst onto the bridge, shouting: "Lily! Status report!"
Suddenly, the shaking stopped, and the computer went silent.
"Well, I got the ship landed without killing us. That good enough?"
