Appearance//Auvrea isn't one to say she is beautiful - no striking features, a face lacking captivating eyes, dark as coffee. As for her hair, a first glance and assumption would dub Auvrea the tom-boy title, or a pretty girl who doesn't care to glam herself up. A shock of raven hair peeks past her forehead and ends just above her eyebrows in a jagged frame. Her body, on the other hand, is athletic and lean, muscle accented through her tight clothing, and not a single degree of body fat. she stands at a satisfying five feet, seven inches tall. Outside of performances, Auvrea prefers to dress a bit plain, in loose fitting comfortable clothes, mostly in fabrics of earthly hues. But, in a performance setting, her attire is completely different, no longer a dull smudge of brown but a glorious display of color, tight fitting spandex to reveal her body lines and physique, complete with intricate patterns of dark purples, maroons, pinks, reds, indigos, and violets, displaying the colors of her passionate emotional range from the inside out.

Personality//Upon first meeting Auvrea, she is modest, quiet, and quite shy to open up due to her low self esteem when it comes to social instances and conversations. She does alot of her talking in her head and not out loud - which becomes a problem when somebody gets her really angry, and she'll let them have it with the awful truth once and for all. This is probably due to the enviornment she grew up in, being teased because she was an orphan, and not exactly fitting in because of it. But once one gets to know Auvrea, they will instantly learn she is very ambitious and aspiring, always ready to make any dream a reality. Auvrea knows very well that you don't get anywhere being hopeful, and it takes hard work and determination to achieve your goals. When she steps up to any stage, her inner beauty goes into full bloom, revealing a couragous young girl. That girl is Joga, no longer Auvrea, but a fearless, moving piece of art. She can be a blank canvas for that starving artist to thrash paint unto, and she will sport those messy colors with pride, throwing herself to the audience in a raw, capturing performance of the human soul that will leave the audience feeling a sort of emptiness, that feeling that says, "She's done, and I'm afraid I've grown attached. I want more... when can we see her again?" That's the trick. Likes//Butterflies, Birds, Natural Beauty, Flowers, waterfalls, stars gazing, and the company of good friends.Dislikes// Arrogance, Egotists, Obnoxiousness, and things of that nature. Negative energy, although it is near impossible to escape, talking about herself and her past (she'd rather let her dancing do the talking), and bugs.

Talents// Pantomime, she was self taught, except for the guidance of a childhood friend who was double her age, and was a famed performer in the town she resided in. The style in which she practiced to the sounds in her head, the town, as well as her opressed emotions, gave Auvrea the energy to portray actions, feelings, and history with her body, displaying her toned flexibility, coordination, and divine creativity. With her dancing, Auvrea wishes to incarnate the gift of joy, grace, beauty, and lightness.
Among dancing, Auvrea is also specially trained in object manipulation. Since the time of her birth, having a wide variety of euipment to choose from, Auvrea was specifically drawn to a set of 6 foot aluminum poles, adorned with rectangular, solid colored silks that reached mid pole, her mother left behind upon abondonment. (Her perents were extremely skilled in the art of object manipulation, and often performed with tavern productions and street performances.) From the moment she gripped the cold metal rod, she was hooked, spinning and bending the pole's will to her own liking. A performer was concieved, and the silk would forever remain a tool to convey her emotions and the language of her soul.
Due to her abilities with the flag, Auvrea found it extremely easy to pick up other skills such a fire staves and baton twirling.
Once these skills were mastered, Auvrea would combine her dancing with the equipment to push her performance to the next level, in which she would intrigue audiences with the simple stroke of her flag through the air whilst leaping and tumbling, or completing amazing feats with not one, not two, but three 18 inch metallic batons, all while completing a full set of choreographed movements to blend into one grande spectacle.

Stage one// Upon her entry into Cirque, her minuscule tasks would include cane spinning and boton twirling outside of the cirque's camp grounds, shouting out to passerbys whilst spinning to pursuade them to participate in the circus fun. Hoping to advertise Cirque with a little street performing, she'll do anything to enchant the people that walk past her, forcing them to long for more until they're dying to pay admission to watch the Cirque.
Also, Auvrea is eager to help out with any other tasks that need to be taken care of around the camp grounds, whether it be sweeping popcorn, picking up plastic cups, cleaning under bleachers, seats, and stands, or feeding and bathing any animals, and would gladly care for them.
Besides cleaning and performing on street corners, she'd be more than happy to promote the circus through simple word-of-mouth, talking to as many tranger as she can and boasting about the spectacular acts and shows that the circus offers. Stage Two// Although Auvrea is undoubtedly advanced in twirling and spinning, her dance is always first to her, and that is where her passion will forever reside. She can be a supporting character in an act, portraying the feelings, events, or story through her movements, and even performing with streamers, scarves, and props to enhance the main focus on stage. Whether that focus be hand balancing, acrobatics, magic, fire play, feats of super streangth, or even side show freaks, Auvrea can be a stunning back-up in any performance setting and is able to portray any role as a character.
Besides backup, Auvrea would also be extremely helpful in a story telling setting to enchant and depict the scenes with her body and excellent, accurate choreography.Stage three// Auvrea would someday like to be on center stage, with an ensamble of other dancers and spinners or people who can manipulate objects. Also, a supporting band to create and weave a magical setting through noise and music to dance to and portray would be lovely, so she can reach the maximum potential of her dancing through the art of story telling with movements. Over voices to accompany the act, or narrators and singers*, would be a great addition to provide a voice to the stories or feelings. (I think Auvrea would work best in enambles or troupes, or small* solo acts as a way of entertaining the crowd a bit in preperation for a larger, main act.)Stage four// Not quite sure where Auvreas career could progress, but the possibilities are endless, and any idea another character may have, she is more than willing to challange, or co-choreograph a performance/ensamble.

Background// Auvrea grew up in a relitively large town that flourished and prospered from taverns and drunken night-life, as it was the cross way between two large trading cities. Thus, many travelers stopped there to rest, and some even settled into it's relaxed, rural scenery. Her perents were both skilled performers, her father a juggler, and her mother specializing in the art of flags. They were frequent performers at local taverns, entertaining the patrons and guests, joking around and having a jolly good time, while making a living off of fat tips and bookings. When the two had a child, all was well, and they were very happy. But soon, the young couple found that it was much too difficult to support a child, and were no where near ready, as there jobs were beginning to dwindle. Struggling with finding work after a ban of alcohol and taverns due to a mass rie in violence, taverns were locked up, as well as clubs and certain shops. There was less and less work to be found. This crisis led to their split, causing Auvrea to be torn to reside with her mother, and her father abondoning the two. When Auvrea reached age three, her mother was far past depressed and out of luck, turning to alcohol, and eventually committing suicide when Auvrea was just seven years old. Although that time was very traumatizing, Auvrea is not depressing or negative or bitter after the events of her past, but she chose to become stronger, gaining insight and premature wisdom through the teachings of life and reality. An old friend of her perents called Penelope, who was an outstanding belly dancer and often performed with them, took Auvrea in on the behalf of her mother's request, and gave her the pet name Joga. Penelope guided Auvrea and taught her until the age of 16, honing Auvrea's dance abilities through intense training in flexibility, technique, and body language. Before her 17th birthday, Penelope passed due to a developed internal disease or break down. The disease was unknown. Heart broken, Auvrea turned to the light that nested within her and took the unfortunate and surprising death as her que to leave and embark on an adventure of her own, having come to the conclusion that the town was only good for drunks and tragedies. She searched and searched for job oppurtunities, taking up cleaning jobs and the like, traveling from town to town with carribans and travelers of oddballs and unusual novelty acts, performing for anything of value, and for herself. Dance is the only thing in her life that has been real and true, because it came from her perents. She treasures it like a gift, her prized posession. One day, she would come across an amazing circus that would bring her lonely mobile life to a halt and propel her into a life she could have never imagined - One raw performance for the soul, a rebirth, and the oppurtunity to have a family.
