As the creature fell, second bullet would hit the carcass, the same explosion taking affect sending what he thought be a dead creature flying backwards after destroying a good chunk of the top of the shell. All in all, it reminded him of Mario pouncing on a koopa shell and sending it cascading off into the distance, except in this instance it was cascading back through the gate it came. Except he wasn't going to fit this time, the wall wasn't about to magically rearrange itself to make room, not with the anti-magical field the creature was somehow still producing about it.

Nope... Maddix had to improvise, so as the second shot connected. He fired two more after which where targeted at the wall to make a new tunnel for the abominations corpse. He fired two more shots at the body, just for show.

Oddly, when the shell was hit by another bullet only a chunk was blown away without moving very far. It seemed as if something was keeping it in its place so as to not let it get blown back and away. The fact that it weighed in the measurement of tons might have been it. How far upwards really depends on bone mass and how much he'd eaten recently. If the blast wave only threw Maddix back it can be assumed that something many more times his weight wouldn't be moving very far.

Its unknown why Maddix was trying to blow up chunks of rubble where the entrance had been, but Redemption wasn't in a position to care in his shell as he waited for a time to strike. His mindset at his entrance had been to ******** the door, he could just walk through it all. This had led to the whole collapse of one fourth of the stands and him not caring how many people had likely been crushed.

Maddix stood around and as no one announced him the winner, he began approaching the creature, his sword drawn seemingly building up power as the colour began to darken to a pure ruby red.

The shell began to move.

No, it wasn't moving by standing up or moving its limbs or anything, that s**t just started to roll. Once it rolled away the place where it had been was characterized by rubble about where the bottom of the shell should have been as well as a crater of sorts. The shell was slightly oblong, but it rolled fairly well, and fast given the size, the fleshy bits always facing Maddix. What the hell was moving that much dead weight?

Maddix continued powering up his sword, it would seem as if it's hold was limitless. The sword began crackling with deadly bolts of powerful energy. A crater began to from around Maddix, a powerful forcefield expanding outwards from him.

The shell slowly seemed to be moving closer to Maddix as it rolled about, the limbs flopping about as if lacking the bones within. In mere moments the giant shell would be towering over Maddix like some giant staring down at a puny liliputian. Why then, did it seem like the forcefield and starsaber wanted to shy away from the massive construct of bone, mineral, and alchemical substances?

Maddix retrieved his gun and loaded a different clip, a metallic red in colour as he prepared to fire. Taking aim and pulling the hammer back. The gun was now loaded with a different bullet, and was the second of Maddix' set of four special bullet's. He really didn't want to crack these out yet, but it didn't really matter. The shell's to these bullet's contained two shots, one a powerful electromagnetic orb and the other a small metallic orb which would follow directly after it.

As the metallic orb would make contact with the Electro Magnetic Blast, the electromagnetic fields would begin to fluctuate uncontrollably, feeding off of the EMF (electro magnetic field) produced by whatever the object is it struck. The gravity would become concentrated, increasing rapidly as everything within the proximity of the initial electromagnetic pulse created by the impact of the EMB, would implode inwards. Creating the affect of a miniature black hole, a short lived one anyways.

Maddix retrieved another component from within his jacket, and clipped it onto the top of his Dessert Eagle. It was actually a scope, which began processing and analyzing the EMF in the area, locking in on the particularly big one produced by the shell/creature. In doing this, the scope calculates the approximate power level of the EMBlast needed to completely destroy the target. And then an approximate time needed for the scope to generate that much energy.

...After taking aim, the scope locked on to the beast as he leaped to the side several yards, taking off in a sideway's sprint as he got out of the beasts path.

The only downside to this tactic, was that he'd only get one shot to hit, unless he wanted to wait twice the amount of time needed to generate the energy so he could have two shots.. The good thing was, however, that the starsaber had already generated quite a bit of energy, and if things got sticky he could drain energy from it by planting the gun onto it's hilt. However, he wasn't sure he wanted to do that yet, it was the only protecting he had from assaults thus far.

The EM orb would simply not be at the same location of the shell and the metallic orb at the same time. This would mean that either the metallic orb uselessly strikes the shell while the EM orb is off in some random direction or the blast is incredibly premature, which would endanger Maddix. It seemed as if something about the shell was causing nonsolid projectiles to deflect or reflect. When Maddix moved to the side several yards the shell began to move as well, rolling after him with increasing speed. It rolled such that the rolling edge was chasing Maddix with neither the fleshy bits or the hardened shell facing him. After the display with the first orb perhaps he would think better of using a similar weapon.

[[Forfeit...

This tournament sucks... Good match Tacitus, best fight so far on Gaia. I'm still not to impressed though, your character could use some fine tuning to prevent the arguments that we had. You got the idea's in your head, just not written out and clear.]]
