(Not a problem my friend I can understand how time cam kill many a writer.)
Saphen felt the vibrations of the blood's movement and sadly had to deal with this problem before it became a bigger burden. As the blood tried to gather the metal would seem to consume it. With each crawling movement as the blood tried to combine to become a stronger bond it sank into the metal slightly, the metal heated up and burnt the blood than cooled before it could become stronger. From Greed's view he could not see this occuring since the dark color of blood would not be easily seen on the dark black metal. The hole he was holding lost some of its form but it didnt matter, Greed was already in the process of countering it. Feeling the sand under him vibrate as the blood tried to "seal the deal," Saphen heated the bottom of the barrier and burnt the last of the assault. Saphen floated only a few inches over the bottom before it cooled and he set his feet down once more. He could in a way "fly," because of the metal chest plate as well as gauntlets and shin guards by merely moving the objects he moved his body. This all took about the same time as it took Greed to get his footing and begin his charge.
Feeling the first thunderous stomp of the man's epic power Saphen's sight immediately looked foward with very little time to react but Saphen had not shown Greed another one of his special attacks which he had considered using after watching Greed fight in previous battles. The man went to punch through the barrier but Saphen would instead use his barrier as another form of an attack.
Two seconds was all it took for Greed to reach his opponent. Saphen kept his sword in his right hand as he waited for the last second of the attack to launch his barrier at his opponent. The cape would hit Greed, quickly folding over his body conforming to his curves and shapes which wasnt the only difference it had when Saphen was using it. It would not protect Greed but instead may be is undoing. Greed's attack worked on the concept of moving carbons in his skin to create the dense material that could break bone among other things. As Greed moved his arm back to prepare the strike the metal would consume him, but something else was happening. Saphen was infront of greed but was slightly to Greed's right, his body low ready to pounce as the metal wouldnt stop his opponent's movements but merely covered him, blinding to him. The stomach region of Greeds body had carbon on it like anything else but Carbons can be moved, reused, rebonded, and etc. Saphen intended to use this for his special attack. As Greed's body moved closer to Saphen the metal touching Greed's stomach began to change, pulling the carbons away from the bonds that held them rearranging the metal's bonds along with them to create Graphite. Graphite was sheets of carbon arranged in a hexagonal structure and using Greed's carbon would return the skin to a normal much less dense form.
If Greed in the miliseconds of the assault realized what was going on he would come to the problem that if he tried to moved more carbons to that area they would be consumed by the magic of the cape changing them into Graphite bonds. The cape merely acted as the median for Saphen's skill and in a way amplified the change drastically increasing the speed the carbons were changed into Graphite (energy use was already in the cape from conforming it around you thus redirected into speeding the process of the change). The small area (about 6 inches in diameter, circle shape) would be given a hearty hello by one of Saphen's other weapons, the much more arcahic Rapier he held at his side.
Made of the same Mythril metal if the attack prooved useful would pierce through the Graphite (a soft earthly material not hard to pierce) and into Greed's body. Saphen would let go as he ran foward side stepping the attack (moving passed your right side) prooving the toxins to be useless. The sand Saphen kicked up while he was running ironically produced another defense, he could feel if they were moved in the air and would alert him if something possibly occured between the attack it self, and the escape. If the blade entered Greed's body it would spin on it's own like a drill trying to turn Greed's organs into mush as Saphen quickly turned his body and was lifted into the air a few feet away from Greed (both distance and height wise.)and continued to fly as he would watch the sword grind into his opponent. On the floor he was merely a human but in the air he could move his metal chest plate at a much quicker pace, increasing his speed amazingly and was in the air as quickly as Greed had went from the hole to the barrier.
The sword would continue to spin pushing deeper into Greed's body but it wouldnt go foward. It would move up Starting at the stomach and pushing towards the lungs and heart hoping to destroy all of the vital organs Greed had. Saphen prayed that this attack worked as he continued to easily manipulate the blade into his opponent's body.
(Burnt the blood to prevent the seal, Consumed you in the metal at the last second to blind you, at the last second used the carbon congregated around your stomach area to recreate it into graphite and pierce you, side stepped your attack and flew into the air to prevent a meancing counter attack. In a sense I sort of did what Edward did in the series to remove carbon black from Greed except of returning it to normal I simply used it to create another type of earth element which is in the realm of Saphen's abilities. If this doesnt make sense pm me, we can figure something out.)

Greed's reaction time could have been better when he watched the cape begin to flow once again, but seeing as he was almost in full stride it was hard to react to such a surprise attack. With his arm extended it would most likely be the first thing grasped by the cape. He would draw his arm back when the cape grasped the bone extending from his arm hoping to escape through a power battle. Of course he was stronger, but it would only delay his capture as the rest of the cape began to swivel about his body. In order to keep the cape from consuming him, he would use the ever so handy bones that were in the contents of his body. They would spring out from his body as the skin peeled away allowing the bones to pass. As always they were strong and hard. Seeing as the cape wasn't as solid as maybe a mythril sheild or armor it would be easier to pierce. The bones would shoot out of his body puncturing the cape in very very many places. With the cape in tatters, he could merely tighten his muscles and spread his arms with good force to escape the binding.
It was about at that time that the sword would be speeding towards him. Since the cape never really got ahold of his stomach, his skin would stay to its normal substance. He would merely stand there allowing the blade to strike his extremely dense body where it would bend from the force and flop to the ground. As this happened, he would watch the man moving past him. He would keep his eyes on the man as he moved away from the cape incase his opponent might try something.
" Such a pain," he muttered as he withdrew the bones back into his body.

"s**t..." he whispered as the sword bounced off, he had to escape he was in his opponent's range. As his right arm was whipped back and the sword flew out of his hand Saphen with tactical thinking devised a plan in only a few seconds. Saphen needed an escape from his opponent's powerful melee attacks and he hoped he had figured out a make shift distraction. As the cape tore the pieces began to float all launching them selves at Greed's head. Assuming that this would not only blind him but that Greed would try to prevent the metal from binding to his skin gave Saphen time to escape Saphen continued his side step and was suddenly flying in the air.
Now his speed in flight was quite fast and after some time training he was use to th e G force it could place on the body while he moved the metal armor that adorned his body. While his body launched into the air he turned to watch his opponent's reaction to the cape. Keeping his opponent basically in a straight line path from him self he conitnued to fly in the air reaching a 20 foot distance and a 20 foot height in only a few seconds. Saphen's sword layed in the ground, tip deep in the sand like the sword of excalibur as Saphen pondered his next move. Would Greed's body be slowed down by his skin being more dense and most likely more heavy? How did it change Greed's reaction time in his attacks? Saphen would have to test this before he could make another offensive.

[ Finally back on track. ]
The beastly man was not surprised in the least. With his attention not leaving the destroyed cape, he could quickly retaliate to the new formed attack. Due to the alloted distance, Greed could quickly whip up a counter on the cape. He would merely turn his head and draw his head back making a loud slurring noise from the depths of his mouth. When he whipped his head around a wad of black spit would shoot out of his mouth like water from a fire hose. The liquid was tar. Drew out from the cigarette consumed earlier in the battle, the tar would escape his lips as the shreads were about a foot from his head. It would spread around the shreads of cape, and with good force, tackle it down like a net.
With that taken care of, the Homuculus would turn back to face the man. He would have no more problems with the cape. It was just such a shame he had to reveal such a move at the time; could've really come in handy. He would merely turn back to the man and watch him, studying him. His turtle style of fighting was really starting to crawl under Greed's skin.

If conversation permitted Saphen would have loved a good old brawl type match. But unfortunately Saphen was human, and trying to punch through the armor known as Greed's skin would have been a futile attempt at best. Like David vs Goliath Saphen had to out smart his opponent who sadly enough was much more intelligent than a giant who watched sponges seep out water. So what could Saphen do next? While Saphen was flying away he watched the tar drop his cape down like a fisherman simply getting his catch of the day and he was surprised. Where the hell did tar come from? Well Saphen could only assume that this guy could A. Produce materials and toxing with his body or B. should see a doctor almost immediately. Considering Saphen was the one in danger in this match, he went with A (though if he was asked, he probably would have offered Greed a ride to the hospital.)
Turtles might be slow but they finish the race in due time and he couldnt rush anything with this type of opponent. Watching Greed's skin Saphen being of sound mind had to assume that it was indeed molecular changes and with only a few types of molecules in the human body that would beable to make a strong protection (iron, carbon and what not) Saphen's instincts were right, it was indeed carbon, considering his sword bounced off the man's stomach with little problem to him. Saphen needed to start pulling out some crazy moves to get this man down but how do you get through that armor? Saphen would need to start testing it to see if there were any types of weakness to it. Could Greed hold this form indefinately? Would Saphen have to find a way to break it or could he endure it if Greed's energy was drained the more he used it? What was once Saphen's beloved cape was out of the picture so Saphen went on to other matters.
Saphen would have to put some attacks into his withdrawl to keep Greed on his feet until he could figure out another form of attack. Saphen's hands raised suddenly and the earth began to shake as the attacks began. The stone that emerged from the ground directly infront of Greed looked like the talon of a hawk. Curved in a sharp spike, the tip lifted from the ground and attempted to crush Greed's head in one swoop. Assuming that Greed could either dodge or survive this it wasnt the only point of attack but more or less the major distraction. Around 100 or so small spikes (about a foot long and decently thin but not brittle thin) launched from the ground and at Greed in a field covering assault. Some flew upwards in the area where Greed could jump while the others moved directly at him from a ten foot radius around him. The tips of these spikes could rend human flesh but who knows how they will turn out vs Greed's armor.
While the spikes flew sand began to collect around Saphen. It floated in the air around Saphen like a fog but didnt so much hinder vision of Saphen as it seemed to just be attracted to him but didnt touch him. Saphen floated loving off the ground hoping to be near him as Saphen watched how Greed would react to his attack.

As he assumed, the man would attack him with an earth bound technique. He was obviously wise enough to keep his distance, which would indeed turn this into a battle of with more so than brute force. Then again Greed's impressive power of body couldn't hurt.
The crimson colored slits where his eyes normally would have been caught the sight of the hook of earth rose forward to smash into his head. His quick reflexes aided him in this instant to instinctively move into a half crouch. He wouldn't fully drop to bent knees but come up on the left side of the hook. It was a common boxing training technique used to simulate the effects of dodging a straigh forward punch with a duck and quickly coming up to bring and inside uppercut. Thought, instead of uppercutting, he would wrap his right arm around the stone hook to swing his body up into the air. The reason for this would be his way of relieving the slight prickling he had felt in his feet upon having the spikes lift from the ground. As only mere stone, they could not scratch something with a much higher hardness.
With great gymnastic dexterity, he would pull himself up onto the hook( about 6 ft into the air, since it was aimed for his head) and into a perched position. Due to his new altitude over the ground, the spikes shouldn't have been able to reach him. Had they for some odd reason, they would quickly crumble as the two forces collided. Greed's being the harder of the two would allow the spikes to crush under the pressure. As he sat perched he would be quite busy. He couldn't just sit by and let the fight commence around him.
His entire chest would gain the bright blue aura of his previous attacks. The black skin would peel back right down the middle along with his flesh over his stomach. From the darkness of the open hole where his abdominals were raised a cylindrical shaped container. Upon closer inspection, one might find it to resemble a cannon such as ones used on 18th century military vessels. The cannon would only sit in his stomach perfectly still for a moment or two. He would adjust his positioning and lean back. The cannon would suddenly fire off a loud blast that sent a black sphere high into the air. The sphere was about the size of a basketball and seemed weightless as it flew throught the air, sailing high above Saphen. It would begin to take it's descent aim to smash down directly on the man. Greed would merely watch, with intense eyes. His stomach would return to normal but not before he removed a single rib bone.

The sand continued to collect as Saphen watched with great interest how the stone effected the man's body. So stone was definately not going to be enough, well not a problem he had other talents. The man's stomach began to glow as the skin peeled back. The dense skin was opening and Saphen saw a chance to maybe dent this massive warrior. Debating on what kind of attack to do Saphen realized he had little time to react. If the skin was peeling back something was about to happen, he had to strike now. From the talon Saphen had created six stone spikes would launch themselves into Greed's midsection right after the cannon ball was launched.
This was no clever timing by Saphen but just sheer luck that they should happen in this order. Two spikes were sent into the hole while the other four were sent in areas around it but Saphen didnt notice. The cannon ball launched it self into the air like a mortar and anyone in war situation knows that you wait to see the mortars direction of travel before moving. The sand surrounding Saphen was now floating in a sphere of about eight feet around the man's body though it was not dense grouping of sand it continued to collect expanding the size of the sphere. Saphen would switch his gaze between Greed and the mortar until it reached the top of its arch, it was coming down on Saphen.
Saphen's body suddenly moved to the right moving ten feet with impressive speed that rivaled Greed's speed on the ground. In the air, Saphen was not restrained by the boundaries of man, his speed would suffice for the moment. The light grouping of Sand had followed Saphen to the same spot, the sand had actually matched the man's speed with little problem. Turning his gaze back to Greed he watched to see what would happen but didnt forget about the cannon ball, Greed could create what appeared to be toxic material, and he wasnt taking any chances.
