Arcane_Master_Samx metaljesse I tend to feel stressed when I'm in a tournament, but when I'm playing casual, my mind feels like it's on all cylinders. I love casual...so much more fun..and more... ...shall I say it?.... ninja Fooly Cooly ninja How do you guys feel in a tournament or casual space, and what do you do to help you out when you're not doing well? Tournament *shivers from bad sliver expirience* it went for my head mommy MY HEAD. You betrayed me.(it was that day that i learned slivers suck in tourny's)(after buying legions for 2 whole months to obtain all the slivers from that set) They are good cards if use them right.

Casual = Fantastic Tournament = OK
Mostly because in casual play I can pawn everyone I know (most of the time). The only real bad thing about Tournament is that, due to limited wallet size, I can't always make the exact deck I want...
*grumbles* Stupid people and their stupid money...

One of the most times I had in a tourney match was playing agaist a guy who used a killer Maga strategy. He had insane amounts of mana acceleration, return from your graveyard to hand/top of library, transmute (for 3, or course), and only one Maga, which he would get all the time, either by drawing or transmuting. So what I did...
Turn 2: Distress. Bye Bye Maga. Opponent: "Oh, don't worry, I'll get him back, then you'll die." Turn 3: Shred Memory. Maga's gone. Permanently. Opponent: "Um... about what I said earlier. Yeah... I concede."
That was great. I was playing Black/Green anti-Gifts/Recollect. It worked good against quite a number of decks, but had trouble again Boros-Wins, and a Firemane Angel/Shard Phoenix deck. And a lone token deck, due to the fact it was, more or less, reanimate black/green weenie, with some control built in.

i cant do turni's sens ei keep on forgeting to change my deck everso slightleymto take out banned or ristricted cards from my deck.but i do enjoy prereleases and booster battles. i like the rush you get when you get a half desent deck, or the chalange of building a deck from scrap and going emeditally into a fight.
