Currently I'm brain dead, and will add more "area's" on to this post later.
• I believe tee sex is a growing issue, but I'm not going to even debate about it because it's a choice. People may not want their children to have sex, but really, how could you object since you were made out of this? I think sex has to mean something to you, has to be completely meaningful to the other as well, and has to be with someone you're emotionally intact with. Sex is a unity of man, and woman; man, and man; woman, and woman. It's not just something to be thrown around like a dog ball, my dear friend's.
Personally I can't say I'm not a Virgin, and my first time was with a complete douche, but in the end I found the love of my life with another. So all roads can't lead to the same one, right?

I'm kinda new, not just to the guild, but to gaia all together ^^;;
I figured that this would be a nice way to make some friends too, as I could meet people that possibly share the same problems as me, and try to help them out, and get advice back.
1) Abortion. - I am so freakin' on the fence about this, that I don't think that I'll try to explain how I feel, sorry.
2) Teen sex. - Personally, even though I used to wish it would happen to me, I don't think it's too smart at such a young age. For me, I would say 18 is a good age to have legal sex, but maybe make the punishments for having sex before that age a little less harsh than what they are, possibly a fine or something. Saying that, I don't exactly think that it's a terrible thing at say, age 16, as long as it's safe.... (which it usually isn't)
3) Teen pregnancy. - Generally not a good thing. 95% of teens are no where near ready to handle a kid, not to mention the effects that it has on their life. By that, I mean it usually makes them drop out of school and land themselves somewhere where they likely don't want to be.
4) Gay marriage. - And why not? I say love is love, no matter who it's felt between, and if you're deeply in love with another person, you should be able to be with them through your whole life through marriage. 'Nuff said.
5) Sexual preference. - Different strokes to move the world <3 It's perfectly fine to be what ever you feel like you are, even if that seems to change over time.
6) Suicide. - Needs to be stopped. Most of the time it's because of something that one good friend or loved one could have talked them out of. People need to learn to be more accepting and loving to people without judging by looks, so that we won't have so many bullies in our lifetime.
7) Self-harm. - I think that there are better ways to let out the emotions that you feel. While I realize that sometimes there are medical issues that stop this from happening, there should be more available help in terms of therapy, as not everyone wants to call the anonymous kids help phone.
9) Love. - It's such a wonderful feeling, I'm sure it's even better when it's mutual.
10) Drugs and Alcohol. - Wrong. Just wrong. I'm SO fed up with the majority of people at my school being a pothead, a drinker, or some kind of hybrid of the two. All it does is ruin your life, and I know I'll never do it. How is it fun to drink stuff that tastes horrible or smoke stuff that makes you cough your lungs out, just to act stupid and retarded in front of people? It's not fun....have fun getting your cancer and liver disease.
11) Religion. - I am Roman Catholic....*watches as everyone yells at me and throws things* but I don't agree with plenty of things in my faith. I'm currently questioning a lot of things and finding out what religion really means to me. I do however, believe that there is a god, and that's about all I know for sure. I also think that there has to stop all this hate between the religions, take a world religions class, and find out about them, it seriously opens up your eyes.

Oh! Hello. I'm Tenny, I'm eighteen, I'm female, and I'm new to this guild. Well, new to posting here anyway.
Let's see... view on issues?
1) Abortion.
I used to be pro-choice, but "personally" pro-life. Then I thought... what's so wrong with just having it and giving it up for adoption? Either way you're probably going to feel bad, but at least this way you brought a new life to the world. Abort it and a lot of people feel regrets, give it up for adoption and people feel regrets. One choice just seems so much nicer, you know? Anyway, pro-life, unless the mother's life is threatened.
2) Teen sex.
Extremely against. Sex is a gift to be shared with someone you love, and... Oh, I just personally believe that if someone loves me they'd be willing to marry me and make a permanent commitment before wanting to engage in an act that could bring about a new life.
3) Teen pregnancy.
My mother was pregnant with me when she was sixteen and gave birth to me when she was seventeen. She was also a drug addict and was kicked out of high school. When I was 11, I was dropped off with relatives I had never met. Point being, teen sex is generally followed by teen pregnancy, so the views would be the same. Adoption would be my answer.
4) Gay marriage.
In a black and white sort of view, I feel that marriage is meant to unite a family, and that sex is to express love and to produce children. However, everything is so confusing nowadays with birth control and sex changes and in the end I really don't care all that much. I'm not gay and I don't feel that it's right to block the happiness of others just because it confuses me. I do have to say, though, that when I see people making out with everyone in sight at a gay marriage protest I am a little wary. Marriage means monogamy, right? Stop those "how many people can you kiss" contests! Argh! But of course, that's not everyone and there are plenty of promiscuous, adulterous married couples.
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference).
I have no idea. Homosexuality confuses me biologically, but if I really wanted to answer that I'd have to do lots and lots of research (which I am obviously unable to do. Do I look like a gal with an Ph. D. in biology? of course not.) Basically, I don't much care and I have friends of all sorts. I pretty much only look down on my extremely promiscuous friends. I'm talking, the ones who are doing like three guys in three days. Seriously, Sarah-Anne... *sigh*
6) Suicide.
Suicide - it's risky business. If religion's right, you may have screwed yerself over, and if it's not, well, you aren't going to not be in pain anymore... you just won't exist. I don't know how much of a reprieve that is exactly, since I haven't experienced it myself. I personally believe that trying to slice open my jugular is more painful than my inner turmoil.
7) Self-harm.
Low self-esteem, inability to cope with intense emotions and thus finding relief in physical pain, since our body isn't that good at handling competing sensations. The answer? Therapy, alternative non-painful methods and dealing with your issues. The fact that it is unhealthy should be relatively self-explanatory.
9) Love.
It is a very frustrating thing. We'd probably be better off without it. Platonic is good, though.
10) Drugs and Alcohol.
Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Not getting into it, mother father psycho friends ugh ugh ugh. And alcohol is technically a poison. You pass out because your body is literally shutting down, a last defense to get you to stop drinking - as in, if you didn't pass out you'd get alcohol poisoning and die. Drinking just to drink is horrible, having a glass of wine to enhance the flavor of food is different.
11) Religion.
As long as you aren't telling my great grandmother that she's going to hell because she isn't going to church on Sundays, I don't care all that much. Extremists in anything tend to make me a little uneasy, but I digress. And on some level people should be using their heads. I mean faith is good, but when logic tells you that something isn't right.. well, heh. Like if the founder of your faith happens to be a science fiction writer, or if your biblical texts were found on metal plates in the Americas and could only be translated by magical hidden lights that no one except the founder could read.

1) Abortion - I'm anti-abortion at the moment. I think children should have the right to life and should be placed at an adoption agency
2) Teen sex - I think that it should be taken more seriously. Sex should be enjoyed when couples love each other.
3) Teen pregnancy - I really don't know enough about it.
4) Gay marriage - For gay marriage. Against chapel marriages.
5) Sexual preference - I think that straight relationships should be the norm on planet earth, but that some deviations may occur. I think this is perfectly fine.
6) Suicide - An unfortunate ending to a wonderful life.
7) Self-harm - I have a good friend who does it. But it makes no sense to me.
9) Love - "What is love baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me no more!" I'm not really sure what it is.
10) Drugs and Alcohol - Altering substances damage the brain. Some do it more than others, but they still damage the brain.
11) Religion - I think that religions in this modern age should have more respect for each other. In this way we would all see our strengths and weaknesses.

Hi there, i'm a 19 year old girl who tries to help out other people with there problems and i do need advice on my own.
1) Abortion.
I'm prochoice i believe that its a womens body and they have the right to do what they want with it.
2) Teen sex.
Its ok, i mean if you wear a condom and be safe, then good.
3) Teen pregnancy.
i hate it, i think so many young girls ruin there lives by have a baby at a young age
4) Gay marriage.
I support love, its that simple, i feel marrriage is about love not gender.
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference).
I never understood the big deal with it was, i mean whatever someone is into is them and they should not be seen as unhuman cause it.
6) Suicide.
something really sad to see

it kind of takes the edge off somethings, i know its not heathy but i do it sometimes

one of the best things that can happen to a person

not to be used to stop depression

1) People have sex a lot and if you can't care for a kid, get an abortion. There's mass population! Abortion is a necessity.
2) I'm not 1 to speak about teen sex. I'll just be a hypocrite. My girlfriend and I are trying but we're nervous.
3) Get an abortion you can't take care of that damn kid! What about school?
4) I'm all for gay marriage!
5) My views on sexuality are a little ********. Heterosexuality is gross to me and most bis are just fakes. Hey, that's my view.
6) I am suicidal.
7) I cut. I have pictures to prove it! I've run away a few times and 1 time I ran away right after I cut and drank. The cops took me to a mental hospital for a week. It was better than home! I hate wannabe cutters though.

I am Bekah, I'm, 16. I live in America (And just for the record, Obama was not my decision... If I had it my way, he would most definately NOT be in office)I love reading and music (Im in the marching band smile ). I suck at spelling, and I am often to lazy to use proper grammar and commas on the computer. If you have other Qs about me, feel free to ask, and if I want to, I'll answer it.
1) Abortion-- I completely oppose abortion. Abortion is killing the baby. It's heart is beating. It's brain can feel pain, so when you... I wont keep on going or Ill get really mad and either offend someone or gross them out. The only time it should be offered is if the mother was going to die[if i were that mother i would have it], or if it were a rape case and the girl was too emotionally unstable to go through pregnancy...
2) Teen sex. -- I dont really know.. Im not going to for religious reasons, but, If they are ok with dealing with the potential consequences... If it never happened, I wouldnt be here so, I cant oppose it too much lol
3) Teen pregnancy.-- thats basically the combination of th last two questions... If you really want to have sex, prepare for the consequences. If you get yourself pregnant, have the baby and keep it or give it to adoption.
4) Gay marriage-- It shouldnt be illegal, as there is no reason for it to be illegal. not allowing it is a breach of the 1st amendment (religion and morals go together.. ). It isnt religiously right, but they should be given tax reductions and such of married couples...
5) Sexual preference-- I am straight. And In a relationship with the best guy in the world smile [1yr and 9 months] but as far as what i think about homosexuality, It's your own decision and if you are one way then, well thats what you are, i suppose
6) Suicide-- I have a friend who has tried, and a friend of the family that has. It is so sad to see people resort to that and breaks my heart every time I have to talk my friend out of it. You should resort to it... give it time, find people that are good for you. No matter how much sh** your in, someone does love you.
7) Self-harm-- again, It is sad to see my said friend do this to himself. If hurting yourself is the one and only escape, the thats how it is, dont go too crazy. If pain in your only release, get something pierced. It works just as well. get the cartilage in between your nostrils done. That hurts alot, so Iv heared (from mom... she knows lotsa of ppl)
9) Love-- There are different degrees of it. Friend, Family (friends that you feel as family), loving someone romantically, and being in love. The difference between the last two is that being in love you really know that you are meant to be with them. Loving someone and crushing on the is different, in that loving them is past infatuation, but being in love is further past it and knowing that you will be with them even though you know their flaws and mistakes. I believe that I am In love
10) Drugs and Alcohol-- The only drug that isnt as dangerous in my mind [cigarettes and alcohol included] is pot. Even then, you shouldnt do it a lot. All of it is poison in your body in some degree. Pot isnt as dangerous in the fact that it isnt addictive-so ive heard. And no one has died from a car accident when they were on pot... just saying. I dont do any of it, but those are my thoughts
11) Religion-- I am a nondenominational christian. I love Jesus and God, but many denominations are too hypocritical and closed minded for my taste, and some of them interperate the bible in a way that i disagree with. A lot of denationalizations to shun and push away non christians, which is a huge mistake and against the bible.

1) Abortion.
Not being mean, but sometimes it might be better to abort, rather than bring a child into the world you might not be able to take care of, and consequently suffer.
2) Teen sex.
Got no probs here, though I do wish people would quit emphasizing sex as the only thing life has to offer.
3) Teen pregnancy.
I see this as a negative, considering how young this usually entails, and how it might affect a teen's future.
4) Gay marriage.
Again, nothing wrong with that. Hope they manage to get it allowed here in the US
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference).
If someone feels an affinity to a certain sex, then whats wrong with that? Its not actively hurting anybody else (provided things are consensual)
6) Suicide.
NO. There is really never any reason to resort to this. Any problem can be dealt with with time.
7) Self-harm.
Considering I've had family that's done this, i'm pretty strongly against it.
9) Love.
Since I'm a bona fide pessimist, I personally don't believe it exists. I do keep up the hope that I'll be proven wrong, however.
10) Drugs and Alcohol.
Got no probs with tobacco and Marijuana, but I do have beef with alcohol, having lost more than a few friends and family due to it's effects.
11) Religion.
Depends on the religion. Myself, I gave up on Christianity after witnessing hypocrisy on a daily basis, and the segregation of some churches against Gays. Theres also too much dissonance to be found in the bible, too much contradiction and whatnot. I now follow the traditional values my ancestors followed back when Native Americans were still undiscovered.
