The little black and red cub was small enough that she was balanced mostly on his chest with just enough room between where her hind quarters ended and where his ended for her to drag her fluffy red tail slowly across the span of dark red fur there. Had this been a meaner male odds were very good that she'd be in trouble right now, but considering Tota's size and what she'd seen of him thus far she didn't really fret too badly about her safety.
The lick had made her all but swoon, however the sexy smile was winning him the satisfaction of having her blood ignite and her toes curl in pleasure.
Leaning down, the little female put her nose in the hollow of the male's neck and took a deep sniff. There was something about the smell of males that made her heat up and her spine tingle, something that she liked, something she couldn't explain. However even though she'd seen her father and her brothers... this male was different. He wasn't the first one she'd met, but he was at least...
Leaning her head forward she licked the end of his muzzle and curled her little toes on his neck as her back legs kicked out and spread to either side of his belly comfortably, her paws not able to touch the dirt below him.
"Oh do I know? You make a pretty gorgeous picture yourself, sexy." Her words came out in a deep churr as she nuzzled right behind his ear gently and her belly tightened.

He grinned up at Maru, eyes dancing in laughter. "You love playing with danger, I see," he observed, shaking his head in mock disapproval. "You'll get hurt one day, girlie, and I probably won't be around to protect you." He frowned at the idea of not being around to keep an eye on Maru, but decided that she could probably take care of herself... for now. The way she was relaxing herself on top of him made him stiffen in a strange kind of pleasure, but he knew it was time to go. His innocent, naive side was struggling to be dominant once more; logic was tearing through his senses as he gave a final farewell, sexy smile at Maru.
"Gotta go, babe," he purred. "Am I? Well, maybe you'll get me, if you keep this up, heheh." A final lick on her nose and a gentle nibble of affection on her ear, the dark, eager look vanished as a startled, confused look took over. Ah, the innocent side was back. He looked up at Maru with a blank look that asked her why she was laying on top of him. "M-Maru?" he questioned, look around as he gently got her off of him so he could turn and lay on his side. "What's going on? Why were you laying on top of me?" He wrinkled his nose in a cute little way to show his frustration over not remembering anything... again. That always happened, and he still wasn't sure why.

Her eyebrows pulled together as he said goodbye, so he had a split personality did he? Well that was certainly saddening but at the same time at least she had hope that she would see him again. That wasn't her problem, just that she had to find a way to bring him back out again someday.
"Because you fell over asleep and I was trying to wake you up." She lied of course, but it was better than him knowing the truth, "You sleep pretty hard for a juvie."
A wink came from a gold eye once more and she rolled off of him onto her red paws and danced around him to try and get him up. She remembered trying to teach this dark red male how to dance, how to sing and everything, if he wanted to or not was beyond her. Maybe he'd reverted before she started teaching him or trying to, either way she didn't know.
"I believe I was teaching you waht dancing was?" She said brightly, her tail swishing from side to side as she poked his shoulder and smiled innocently at him.

He perked up at the idea of learning how to dance. "Oh, yeah! I'm sorry I dozed off. I'm more awake at night." He blushed in embarrassment as he glanced around, and then smiled shyly at Maru. "Promise I w-won't look s-silly when I d-dance?" he asked, stuttering again. Man, what was wrong with him? He couldn't stop stammering when talking to this female; there was something about her that nagged at him, something that kept telling him that it was okay; nothing would happen. Shrugging off the odd stray thought that told him to "Relax, already! Sheesh, she's cute, funny, smart... get a grip, dope!" as he had no idea where it had come from, he nodded to Maru.
"You're m-my teacher now, M-Maru. How d-do I st-start?" he asked, unsuredly. He had watched her and listened to her hum--something he'd learned from--as she "walked" in an odd way, with her hips swaying as she gleefully winked at him. He blinked. "I-I'm sorry!" ---a little slow on the uptake, since he figured he was still sleepy--- "I'm didn't mean to fall asleep. I guess I do sleep pretty hard... ahahaha," he laughed, a blush all over his face. He felt oddly very comfortable with her, and just nodded, returning her innocent smile shyly with a small one of his own. "So, um, do I start making some kind of a sound? And just kind of... make it go up and down like you do?" He questioned, not quite sure how to describe what he recalled what she'd been doing before.

"It's okay cutie, I doze off in the sun too and with all that red fur and how hot you must be I could see why too." A wink came and she tugged on his tail to get him to move a little to get into his own groove.
Maru was fairly laid back about how she danced and about how she lived, to see this flustered boy in front of her made the flirty girl giggle a little on the inside. It wasn't really just at him, it was because despite his other personality he was like this. It gave her a sort of hope that there were those in the world with a personality fit for molding like that into darkness.
Fire flashed behind her golden eyes and she smiled up at him. "You don't know what music sounds like? Hm... how to describe it?" An idea smacked her brain and immediatly Maru started to clap her little red paws together in a beat. "Now you try and match my claps."

He cocked his head at her for a moment, confused by what she was doing, but his body began to follow her odd rhythmic beats on its own. Eyes wide as he glanced down at his paws which were now moving to whatever beat Maru was paw-clapping, he began to slowly enjoy himself. "Wow! Look, Maru, I'm dancing!" he said, smiling happily.
As he danced, random thoughts that he knew couldn't be his kept flitting through his mind. Geez, entertain her all you want, but would you mind letting me take over? He ignored that one. Take over him? Yeah, right! He was having too much fun! But I can give us more fun in a different way... He ignored that thought too.
Tota soon tripped over his paws because his mind had, so to speak, wandered off, and he blinked, before pouting. "Darn. I'm s-sorry about t-that, Maru," he said, looking down, ashamed. "I'll d-do better n-next time."

Laughter filled the air and Maru tottered over to him on her little red gloved paws, taking in his pouting form and the crumpled body that went with it. "It's not your fault, you did pretty good for it being your first time."
She smiled cub-like at him for a moment and sat before him. Something was passing past his eyes constantly, making her wonder what was going on in that dark red head of his. Maybe it was something good, maybe it was something bad.
Bad was a little better she had to admit, but either way Maru didn't mind. If there was one thing her father and mother had taught her it was that she needed to respect everything and everyone and their bubble. If there was something he didn't want to talk about then there was no need to ask him about it.

"R-Really?" he said, looking up with hopeful emerald eyes. "T-That's g-good, then!" he exclaimed cheerfully, tail wagging back and forth to show his appreciation, and smiled brightly at Maru. His ears twitched, however, when he heard the distant sound of his mother's voice. Pouting, he turned to give Maru apologetic eyes.
"S-Sorry, Maru, b-but it looks like I h-have to g-go," he said sadly, before twitching again when his mother called his name once more. "M-My mother is c-calling me to g-go home," he explained, tail swishing no more in excitement. Dull green eyes looked at Maru pleadingly. "You... You'll c-come and v-visit again, r-right?"
He winced again when his named was called louder... he had to really get going. Whatever compelled him to do what he did next, he wasn't really quite sure. Damn, you're so freaking slow! Next thing he knew, he'd licked Maru's nose and then her mouth, and with a blush that screamed tomato red, he smiled at her sheepishly, and with a quick goodbye, fled back home.
