Ewwwww Yamaha custom EX? my friend had one of those... It might have been a great instrument, but i will never know because he wasnt very good at playing it -_-. But my old series 2 sounded better than his EX. Also, there is nothing wrong with monopoly. I mean, come on, who uses anything but windows? However the c* is somewhat over rated, but it is great for beginners and students who arent serious about their instrument.

Quote: well i play all four but mostly i play alto because i dont wanna blow hard (bari) and i dont wanna carry the extra weight (tenor, bari). our school is to poor to own a soprano so ive never got to touch one, although im thinking about buying one Yup, this is from his topic, "Saxaphone anyone?" spelled that way, for real ><

Okay so yeah i play the Yamaha 875 custom and they made an alright one. The custom Z's are the ones that were pretty sought out guys like Phill Woods endorsed em.
What is your full setup anywho? did you say a Selmer C*?

Phil Woods is the coolest old guy ever : )
Anyway, the Z kinda hurt my hand, idk it felt funny and didn't sound much better for me. : ) I love my Custom, she's much better for me.
It's the Custom EX body with the G1 neck
Selmer C* (i want something wider and airier : ) ) Rovner Dark cocked up all the way forward and Hemkes

k : ) have you tried the Selmer s 80 C**?
or the C* soloist? i wonder how they are
Also, isn't there a whole series of s 90 mps?
: ) I also wanted to know if you had any recommendations for a nice metal piece to try. (not necessarily purchase, but i want to try one)
"you know who's" band director told her to bring the tenor he gave her back : (
she was upset, but when she came home, she found out that he replaced it with a selmer super 80 series II with a C* and some metal piece
she just got the metal one working yesterday! : )
Btw, don't you think it's strange to give someone just starting sax that? i would have just given her a really nice and light student horn
