Ok, this topic is about what my instructor likes to call calls wierd voodoo bar tricks, like breaking spears with your kneck, walking over coals, stuff like that. One thing he showed us was this hard touch soft touch thing. The way it works is you punch sombody it makes them stronger, if you just lightly touch them it makes them weaker. To show this he had one of us stand in front of him and he gave him a sharp jab in the chest, then he had him hold out his arm and tense it up as hard as he could. Then he pushed it down, it gave him a fare amount of trouble. Then he went up, stroked the guy across the forhead and just slowly brought his arm down to his side like it was nothing. He tried it on me and i just thought he was pushing harder the second time, then i tried it on someone else, and it worked! He said you can do the same thing with collors too. Red and black make people stronger and collors like pink and light blue make them weaker.
Any one know any other tricks like this and how they work?

The collar thing is just about how colors react in people's minds. If you are wearing a light pink, or soft baby blue color, your opponent will be soothed by the color and lose his adrenalin, as his mind thinks he's safe. A red or yellow collar would grab your opponent's attention and cause him to focus and get an adrenalin rush, as they are cautionary colors in nature.
I don't think Black would have any effect outside of being nuetral and hard to see. Gray has a similiar effect, but works better than black in daylight.

weird one here, it mostly works for up close and personal sports, but smell. Lavender relaxes your opponent and makes them lose their focus, cinnamon puts them on the spot, but it makes it harder for them to see straight the way it reacts with the brain, sweet pea and lemongrass soothe them, but it also makes them focus, and most of the time if you use men's axe cologne it psyches them out and can either make them so full of adrenaline it makes them inaccurate, or makes them better.
Also sound level, if you say things softly in the middle of a fight over and over again, like relax after 30sec of repeating it it will start making them relax, even if there are a bunch of ppl yelling, then they let down their gaurd so you can take them on better

Ok, heres a trick or two for all those grapplers out there. This is a little trick I learned to get somone out of your guard and wind up on top of them. First you shrimp out away from them far enough to kick thier thigh. It doesnt need to be hard just enough to get them to move, when they do shouve thier leg out as hard as you can. This should make them lose thier ballance and fall on thier side next to you. (Easy full mount if your quick). This one is the same principle but it has ot be done in full mount. If you want to take an opponents arm to the left push it to the right. His first thought will usually be to resist. When he does reverse direction and pin his arm to the mat. From there you can work him into an amarakana (spellcheck), arm-bar, what ever you want. Basically each of these tricks is designed to outsmart your opponent and make it easier for you to beat him.
