Yes, I'm auditioning for Joesph ATATD tomorrow(June 21), the day after, June 28, and June 30. Each is a 2 hour session. Anyway, I'm fairly confident. Only reason I'm a little nervous is that high schoolers can audition for the summer musical too. I'm in 8th grade going into 9th, and if there's 11 and 12th graders I really don't stand a chance for a good part. I hope there aren't too many.
Anyway, just asking for a little moral support smile .

I know how you feel about the whole "upperclassmen get the good parts" thing. Honestly, I think it does happen a lot more than it should. But just have confidence, and go out there and do your best. 3nodding Break a leg!

Yeah, we were suppose to be doing that show at the local theatre, but the write a JUST outta the price range for what the producers have to work with right now.

i'm auditioning for that show too soon (except mine is at a community theatre). i always hated auditioning for things when i was in 8th grade, i was so bad back then! just try to breath and act confident even if you are hyperventalating!

Thanks everyone, I had the first part of the audition yesterday, second part's today. We each had to sing Close Every Door, I sang pretty well it's just that some of the others trying out seemed better, their voices just sounded somewhat fuller, we learned a short dance too. That was easy. Spado really doesn't care too much about how good everyone is at dancing for the most part. Only a few select roles require great dancers. Anyway, I'm content so far. Thanks for the support!
Time to add to this. I had the second part of the auditoon today. I didn't do half bad. We didn't do improv, we always do during auditions, weird. Anyway I did pretty good, but some of these high schoolers were good(and others weren't) I felt kinda outclassed almost, but I'll enjoy myself no matter what, what've I got to lose?

Thanks everyone. I'm a brother. Specifically Asher. We've already started and it's a lot of fun! Plus, we finally did improv. I love improv! biggrin
