Remember Remember the Fifth of November
Okay, this is the story. I was walking around Jewel Osco today, and this kid saw me with a cross necklace on, and handed me a flyer inviting me to a Life-Church party thing.
Now, most of you know im athiest (i think o.o') and i was wearing the necklace because i found it on the ground (yes, im a greedy *******)
So i went to the party thing, wearing my army jacket, my army hat, and wearing camo pants, hoping to annoy some people. But, if i had looked the flyer over more, i would have noticed it was a Costume party.
So when i was there, i saw about 15 people wearing army clothes, and because i was the oldest there, they all flocked to me. So i basicly had to improvise my way throughout the party O.o.
So in the beginning, we just had pizza, soda, and Roberts custard (which owned).
After that, we had an event, where the main room was taped into fourths, and there were 4 20 gallon bags filled with crumpled into balls, one was put in each corner, and we had to get the most out of our corner.
So i told all of the kids to get along the borders, and to sweep the paper across, and all of the teens to throw the paper from the middle. Basicly we kicked a**. we had maybe 20 pieces of paper in our section at the end.
The third thing, was a costume contest, where the best boy, girl, and group wins a prize. one of the teens in my group won the best boy costume, one of the wizard of Oz girls won the girl one, and the Wizard of Oz won the group one too :-/
They only won because they had maybe 30 people in costumes, and we had 16, albeit ours were better, they just had more that matched.
We came in second and won a pinata. but we gave it to the losing team, because as i put it "were the army, when we win, all we get is paid" It didnt work :-/
Oh, and after the party, some kid tried to ride my bike away, and i thought he was stealing it, so i chased after him, and cought up to him, and he got off. He then invited me to a party at "Tubgirl's" house. He was about 15, so there would be no drinking, so i didnt go.
All this took about an hour, and in the end, i was sweating, because it was about 87 degrees in there, and i was wearing a jacket, gloves, and a hat. but all in all, it was really fun.
Anyone else doing something fun for christmas?
