I think that the end one where she picks raoul over erik is very emotional. It makes me cry crying As in the one in the underground lair, from when Raoul arrives until they leave. Not sure if it's just one song, or what it's called though sweatdrop

I think that's the most emotional song too.

The song that had a lot of emotion for me was Point Of No Return,I felt like that song had so much passion and emotion during it.

ErikPhantomHeart haleybob i have to agree with her, Past the Point of No Return is just whoa for me 3nodding mmm, nah i think Music of the Night was better heart I aggree with both. Past the point of no Return is a very emotional song because you can her how Erik is really serius about it. And Christen is just singing, Music of the Night is just Erick Singing. Half-the emotion of Past The Point of No Return.

For the most part, most of the songs in it are very emotional. I agree with you all. Down Once More is very sad when Christine chooses Raoul and is full of emotion. The Point of No Return is indeed filled with passion. All I Ask of You is filled with love and the reprise is sorrowful, poor Erik. I could probably go on, but I suppose I won't for now.

Look at them squirm like worms in mud, Blaming a ghost who's flesh and blood. Crossing the line, tossing the dice, Making decisions and paying the price. Either The Love You Never Had or Skin Deep. Both of Erik's big songs. And throw in In a Whisper and In a Room Full of Shadows. And maybe even Haunted.
"Because that's how it feels when you reach through the darkness each night, and she never is there, and she'll never be there. You rationalize that it's all for the better this way, and love is never worth the price that you pay, but you know it's a lie! So you rant and you rave at the god who made you this way, for as long as all your sins are pre-paid, WHY NOT RAISE A LITTLE HELL ON YOUR WAY TO THE GRAVE!!! Then you look in her eyes... remember why you still dream..." If I were really a ghost, my dear, I'd find a better Hell than here! -Erik, The Phantom of the Opera, Tom Alonso

Truly beautiful lyrics. I'm assuming those are from either the Ken Hill version, the Maury Yeston show, or something else entirely?

SentryofShadows Truly beautiful lyrics. I'm assuming those are from either the Ken Hill version, the Maury Yeston show, or something else entirely? Five high D's... AHHH! Four fog machines Three pretty harmonies Nope. That's the Tom Alonso version. It's the most obscure one I know of. It's also my favorite. It's very Leroux-faithful and has beautiful music and lyrics.
For so long I had believed That all I craved was solitude, To dwell beneath the earth so still, Just my music, all that would fulfill... Seeing my fate as fortune glorified I blessed the curse I'd come to bear, And never to worry, or to hurry, Or to hurt, or to care... But how quickly we forget Such a sure and perfect plan, And unlearn the passions that once had burned... But how could I have seen? What was I to do? How could I know I would find you? Christine, you could love me. You are afraid of me, yet I am not wicked. Oh why can't you see that it all could be perfect? A life side by side, two as one, Holding, touching, and-- Oh, Christine, I'm clever. I've devised a mask for me. For us. A perfect replica! They will never even realize what lurks beneath it! And my friends, Christine, they will help you decide. So beautiful... so carefully constructed... so artful... They're mechanisms, Christine. They control things in this house. They control our destinies. They await your hand to tell them what to do. Choose one, and then you'll become my living, breathing wife! Choose the other, and we stay as one as well... BUT NOT IN THIS LIFE!
