A few male/female duets off the top of my head:
-Schadenfreude- Avenue Q -Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better- Annie Get Your Gun -I'll Cover You- RENT (my friends did this one) -There's several from The Last Five Years, but I don't know the show well enough to give you any advice on it. Everyone else has said The Next 10 Minutes though. -As Long As Your Mine- Wicked -The Song that Goes Like This- Spamalot. -Nice from the musical Lucky Stiff. This is a GREAT song that's not too difficult to sing and you can buy the sheet music at any music store. It's a little known musical as well, so it's something original instead of the same old songs over and over again. This would probably be my top choice but... I'm biased because thsi is one of my fave songs of all time ;P Fond memories. -I know a couple people who did Come What May from Moulin Rouge for our Broadway cafe at church.... not exactly Broadway, but still good xD

As Long As You're Mine from Wicked would be my choice. Otherwise:
The Point of no Return-Phantom Yours, Yours, Yours-1776 (very underdone. Do eet! whee )
I would say The Internet is for Porn from Avenue Q, but you'd probably get killed xd

I have a feeling if you did something from Grease, you'd probably get laughed off the stage, but if not, there's 'You're The One That I Want'... 'Tonight' or 'One Hand, One Heart' from West Side Story You could maybe try 'If I Only Had A Brain' from the Wizard of Oz. The words are simple, but there's 'The Rain In Spain' from My Fair Lady. 'Goodnight and Thank You' or 'Waltz for Eva and Che' from Evita.

For competition don't go anywhere near Rent or Wicked. They are so overused it's not even funny. And only do Phantom of the Opera if you absolutly know that you're singing it correctly.
Anywayzz!!! My friend and I just went to competition last month. We got a superior on our duet and also got Critic's choice. The song was called The Speed Test from Thoroughly Modern Millie. It's an interesting little diddy...but it's sung really fast.
Or if you like sexual, Dangerous Game from Jekyll and Hyde xp
