BRASSIERE BRASSIERE BRASSIERE BRASSIERE!
PostPosted: Sun Jan 07, 2007 1:14 am

I was intriguied, and I investigated, and Victoria's Secret just barely has my size in like, one bra... online... not the really cute ones I want, though.

Whatever, I'm tempted to buy it to see if it's any good.

But even though I always destroy the underwire in my Lane Bryant bras--because apparently my boobs are massively heavy and hardcore, I doubt it will last as well.

Well, I'm a 38DD. Finding the size isn't so much the problem as it is finding the size in something that won't make me feel like I'm wearing something made for my grandmother. Where are the cute bras for the big-breasted women (and that don't cost $100+)??

I sympathize. I had trouble finding good bras when I thought I was a D cup, and recently I got myself measured at a private lingerie shop, and it turns out I'm an E cup redface So now I have to hunt really hard for bras that fit, and pay extra because my boobs are bigger than mainstream clothing lines can conceive of. Gyah, I hate them xp

i have issues with bras too. i'm a 40B i believe (i've never been measured) and its hard for me to find any bra, let alone a good one.

its like everyone assumes that big girls ALWAYS have huge tits, and thats simply not the case.

i usually find fairly cute ones in my size at target though, which is weird, but whateves...

i think that any bra size 38+ should have a wide side strap, they're so much more comfy!

Lane Bryant, and I think Victoria's Secret online sweatdrop

But those are both somewhat expensive.

Yeah I've tried both places. Both are a little expensive for me, but I do shop those stores every now and then. But while they have pretty bras, I wanna get some of the cute bras too! Like at my store (I work at Kohls) we sell sesime street bras and bras with pink stars on em and I wanna have those too!

xx. I can find my size, but they're all in the size of skinny girls bras.
Like, it would cut in around the back because the back is too thin and the straps are too small fo hold them up without jiggling. ^^
It really sucks. I usually try Myer and Target and Bras 'n thing.

    pancakesplease. xx.

I can completly identify! Its so annoying to be a big girl with a small chest! I also find it really difficult to get fitted dresses over here as naturally everyone assumes that if you're getting a dress in my size you clearly need to be at least a D cup. evil

I see a market opening xD

One word: CURVATION.

K-mart has a brand of bra(sponsored by the lovely BBW Queen Latifa) that is perfectly made for the curvaceous woman. I'm a 40C, which isn't all that rare, but I can relate to those that say that finding a cute, non-granny looking bra is difficult.

All of my bras have now been replaced with CURVATION because they just simply last longer and look incredibly sexy. Most of them are also designed to shape the sides of the breasts as well, creating a more flattering look. I don't know how I survived without it.

Most of them are lacy, cute colors, and are available in many sizes. They also only cost about $15. I recently bought a lacy slip with a built-in bra for only 18 bucks. whee heart

I heart K-Mart.
