...Who's been begged to draw Fran X Balthier art? .... I have, haven't I. o: Whatever, I enjoyed it. Things I'd like help with: Balthier's left (Our right) leg-- I don't know how to position it. :/ That, and the rod, I'm terrible at designing weapons, so any advice on that would be so appreciated-- That, and any other little nit-picky things anybody can chuck at me. I'm only on the H pencil, so there's still the option of erasing things. xD

And just as a personal opinion/preference, I had to give Fran a bigger a**, it was just too tiny in the game. <3

ps.)Drawing over the image is both acceptable and encouraged.

Fran X Balthier? Can't say I have any idea who those are? FFXII maybe?

Anywho, I think your problem is that the existing leg is awkwardly positioned, so you're left with no logical spot for the additional one. I'd suggest that you move his right leg further away from girl, right now his foot is directly below his crotch. It should be below his hip or even further out from the center.

In other news I find that her nose, mouth and chin are collectively odd. I'm not familiar with the character though, so it's entirely possible that she is suppossed to look like that.

Yeah, FFXII, my friends and myself all are obsessed.

I see what you mean, what I had orignally planned for his legs were for him to be leaning on his right (our left) and have his left slightly stretched out past Fran (You can't see the guide-lines in this, it's so pale I had to up the contrast and brightness quite a bit xD ) I don't really know how men y'know, stand. I suck at drawing males. gonk

Yeah, Fran actually has a pretty big nose, I thought it looked weird too, but everything I thought looked normal didn't look accurate. neutral

Men tend to stand with about two foot-widths between our heels at least, it lets the brothers breathe if you know what I mean.

The proportion of their heads to their body is less sexy and more cartoony. Their heads seem too large.

Yeah, I agree with iconobobtish with the female's head but it seems like the man's head is close.

o: The only way I see myself fixing the size of the head is if I tinker with it in PSP, so maybe I'll get to that sometime later, thanks though. :3

Fran's whole anatomy is different than a humans, it looks odd to me too, but it doesn't look like her without it. gonk

Also, I fixed Balthier's arm-- I thought it was far too short before. As well as taking a stab at his other leg, still need opinions on that. :3

I think his foot on our left is positioned too directly beneath him.
you could either turn his foot outward a bit, or giv e him more a masucaline stance by positioning the foot in live with his shoulder so that he seems more sturdy. Once it seems like his weight is properly balanced on that leg, you can pretty much do what you want with the other.
