Saturday, December 10, 2005 Mid Afternoon Niko walked slowly up the pathway to her home, her footsteps nearly silent amidst the chirping of the birds and buzzing of the insects. It's been so long... She thought to herself, tugging her violet blindfold down, letting it rest around her neck. Are any of them mad at me...? I wouldn't blame them, but I had to go back, I had to help him...! She shook her head, mulling over the reason she left and what had happened when she did. She had some gotten a message from one of the older goddesses back at Oasis, her homeworld, who told her that her old love, Raphael, was dying. Raphael needed her, and Niko had to go see him before he breahted his last, she loved him so much. So she left, the Oasis goddess providing a temporary way to return to Oasis, where she did what she had to do, meeting up with Raphael. What she wasn't aware of, though, was what had happened after she met up with her love again before he died...((She's pregnant. She doesn't know though xd ))
She shook her head again, quietly opening the front door and peering around, looking for any of her childrens' or friends' heat signatures, or just any blob of living heat. She slid her whole, slim and slender body in through the door frame, only to be tackled a second later by a small red panda. "Ha ha, Red, down, down!" She said, laughing.Aqua was sitting in the play room, playing with some blocks, when Red, who had been snoozing next to her, suddenly shot her head up, ears pricked forward, before taking off into the main hall. Aqua gace the panda's retreating tail a questioning look, but when she heard a familiar laugh she understood, and clambered up from the carpeted floor. "MOM!" She shrieked, also dashing into the front hall and tackling her mother in a tight, ribcrushing hug.The shriek of Aqua echoed around the house, immediately piquing(sp?) the interest of most of the other kids that were close enough to hear it(That being pretty much all of them, 'cept Sere, whose in her room listening to music), resulting in Niko being in the center of an enourmas family hug. "Goddess, leggggooooo! I needa breath at some point!" She said through happy laughter. She gave all of them hugs as Shaia, Ginny, and Feinne stood in the door way, smiling or looking neutral according to their personality. Finally, everyone started asking questions, and she held up her hands in a gesture of surrender. "N-no, I don't think any of y'all'll understand, but I had to go back, back, umm, to, to Oasis..." She said nervously, fidgiting. The three "sitters" all nodded, knowing what she had went back to do, since she had told them before leaving.(No one knows she's pregnant xD) They all either patted Niko on the back, hugged her, or nodded, again according to their temperments. Zuko smiled at his mother, though after he hugged her, he took a moment to study her face. She looks sad... What happened when she left? I know something important did, since she left us to begin with... But she looks worn out, tired, and older then before, though not by too much... He mulled over this, before smiling again with the rest of the family. After a few more minutes, Niko disappeared up the stairs, and he looked after her with another frown, before shaking his head. Suddenly there was a tug on his shirt.Sophia had tugged on Zuko, and was peering up at him with wide, golden eyes. "Is mum okay? Where'd she go now?" The younger child asked. He smiled, kneeling down to be eye to eye with his little sister. "I think she just went to talk to Sere. Y'know how she's taken up listening to music at every oppurtunity, I don't think she heard Aqua shriek. So she must have the volume up pretty darn loud!" He finished with a laugh, lifting Sophia up and swinging her onto his back. "Now, since mom's home, whaddy'all say we cook up a big dinner to welcome her back?" He asked all the little people milling about him and the three adults still present.Shaia nodded with a smile. "Yes, that's a great idea. Niko's undoubtably(sp?) tired from her journey, so let's give her a break. C'mon then!" She said, scooping up Lucas in her arms and Tuck on her back as everyone followed her into the kitchen...

Fa'e HQ, Transcribed December 10th, 7:07pm
Satin Regret Niko shuffled into the HQ, a faint smile on her face as she was pulled forward by her young daughter, Aqua, her wings fluffing out a little bit in the faint breeze as they opened the door.Aqua grinned happily as she pulled her mom forward, little spots of water being left behind where ever she stepped. She idly tossed one of her incredibly long braids over her shoulder(Knee length hair xD Picture of her in my www, under banir kinder ^^), smiling over her shoulder at her mother.Niko smiled in return at the elemental, before looking around for the heat signatures of anyone she had possibly met before, or of just anyone else in general. Arrien "Where're we going?" "S-somewhere." "Why?" "B-because." "Will there be people there?" "Y-y-yes." "Have I been there before?" "Yes. When you w-were little." "Are we there yet?" "N-no." "My feet are tired..." "J-just a little more." "Are you cold?" "Y-yeah." "Why don't you wear a coat?" "I look c-c-cooler without one." "Why do I have to wear a coat?" "B-because you're too young for f-frostbite." Somehow, Arrien had thought that Fenrir's growth to a child would mean things would be easier on her. Not having to carry the toddler everywhere anymore, after all, seemed like it ought to do wonders for her back; the fact that Fenrir that could understand when she told him something was bad and recognize trouble before it came had also seemed like it ought to do something in the way of making life simpler. But things didn't work that way, apparently. Using his new language skills, Fenrir put them to use by asking questions nonstop and complaining and asking for new things. Using the legs he could now operate with something resembling mastery, he was inclined to wander off on his own and head straight for that trouble the he could now foresee. Wistfully, Arrien wished that she could have gotten Bard to babysit, at least today... but no. No- the musician was busy today, and Fenrir was Arrien's burden alone. "Is that it? Is that it?" As Arrien opened the gate to the Fa'e HQ, Fenrir looked at the building with wide eyes. "... I remember this place! This had the bunnies, right?" "That's r-right, kiddo." With a weary smile, the Jack-of-all-Trades ushered Fenrir to the front door- and, without any regard for those that might be dwelling within, kicked the portal open with a crash and quickly made her way in, dropping a heavy backpack near the door and spreading herself out happily in front of the fireplace. Ah... and this was the reason I first walked in here. Nice, warm.... God, I love this fireplace...."Mommomom! There're people here!" "Mm... is anyone a man wearing a dress?" "... Nope!" "Okay. You can say hi, then." With a broad grin, Fenrir left his caretaker to soak in the heat of the fireplace to greet the people already there. After a moment, he focused on Aqua, eyes interested. "... Can you show me a trick? Please?" Satin Regret Niko started as she heard a small crash, and turned to look at the person who just came in. Not Faye, or anyone I've met before. But a kid and a woman, his mom? She wondered. As this thought process wound it's way through her head, the little boy approached, speaking to Aqua. While Aqua was about to converse, Niko walked over to the woman who was stretching out in front of the fire like a content cat, raising an eyebrow. "Most people would wear a coat when it's this cold out. Or are you not like most people?" She asked with a laugh.Aqua giggled, grinning at the boy. "Sure! Watch this!" She abrubtly turned into pure water, her now vague shape staying upright for a moment before it fell in on itself in a large puddle of water. A bubble popped from it, the sound of the elemental's laughter echoing from the pop. Arrien "Tch," Arrien answered lazily, not so much as glancing in Niko's direction as she stretched happily in the comfort near the hearth. "You know what I call those people? Not lazy enough." The bunny-ear headband the woman wore had been knocked askew when she'd settled herself onto the ground; as life crept back into her numb fingers, she pushed herself into a sitting position and straightened it. Fenrir watched Aqua avidly as she changed her form, eyes widening with amazement. A faint growl escaped his lips as he studied her form carefully, breaking into a startled grin when the laughing bubble popped near his nose. "Wow... how'd you learn to do that? Or is it, uhm... uh... 'innate'?" Satin Regret Niko let out a loud laugh at that. "Or just too lazy to freeze their butts off. Oh, I'm Nikomas, Nikomas Torren. Though just Nik or Niko's fine if'n you want." She said with a shrug, crouching down and balancing on the balls of her feet, a feather flipping out from her wings now and then to help her balance.Another bubble laugh sounded, before she reformed looking exactly like Fenrir, just different colors, imitating his movements before laughing. "Ha ha, dunno. I can do it 'cause I'm made outta water, I guess. I'm not too good at changin' back to a solid form that isn't m'normal one though." She said with a frown, her features slowly shifting back to her own ones. Arrien "Niko..." The lavender-haired woman paused to consider the name, rolling the taste over her tongue and feeling it out. "Hm. I like it." Giving the winged woman a careless grin, she jerked a thumb to her chest as she arrogantly announced- "I am the Infamous Jack-of-all-Trades, Arrien. Nice t'meetcha." "Oh... so it's 'innate', then," the child mused, nodding as if he understood what he were speaking of. With a broad smile, he put one hand on his side and stuck out his color-marked right arm, offering a handshake. "My name's Fenrir! I can do blue things." Satin Regret She couldn't help but fall onto her backside as she laughed, before holding a hand out, grinning broadly. "You seem cool. Nice't'meet ya too, Infamous Jack-of-all-trades Arrien." She said the title with a solemn face, before laughing again.Aqua shrugged, having not the sligthest clue what innate is. When he stuck his hand out, she shook it firmly, with a broad grin to match his. "'N I'm Aqua! I'm naturally blue, so blue kicks butt!" She said with a laugh. Arrien If Arrien was perturbed by Niko's obvious entertainment with her title, she did a damn fine job of hiding it; after taking the handshake cheerfully, she retracted her hand and folded it behind her head, stretching her arm out. "So! What brings you around here?" She questioned, pulling her legs into a crossed position and leaning forward inquisitively. "Yeah!" Fenrir agreed enthusiastically. After a pause for thought, he amended- "... And gold. But that's just cuz gold's shiny, though... if blue were shiny, it'd be the best all the time." He nodded solemnly to those sentiments, as serious about them as if they'd been straight from the Bible. "So... do you have any other tricks?" Satin Regret Niko couldn't help but shrug. "I originally came 'cause I was having funny dreams(Not ha ha funny, weird funny xD), and someone told me to come here about them. Now though I'm friends with some of the people here, so I stop by now and then." She smiled.Aqua nodded vigorously. "Yesh, definately! Shiny blue! Oohh, metallic blue is shiny! An' yeah, got a whole load of 'em." She said with a laugh and a smile. "Gotta have tricks to not be bugged by m'siblin's at home." Arrien "Oh? Huh. Sounds interesting...." Behind her glasses, Arrien's eyes glinted a moment. Are you trying to say something to me, AdventureSense(tm)? she thought wonderingly, regarding the woman before her in a new light. "What kind of dreams were they? Do you still have 'em, or is that all in the past?" "Siblin's?" Fenrir's voice was notably confused... what was a siblin? It sounded dangerous, if you needed tricks in order to handle them. "Are those bad things?" Satin Regret She frowned. "I still have them, not as frequently though, now about once a week. It mostly involved me in a dungeon or somethin', full of spider webs and stuff. I want to say it was somewhere it Africa, but I don't think Africa would have dungeons like that. Anyways, there was this giant spider, as tall as my waist, it was crazy." She said, laughing at the sound of her explanation.Aqua frowned. "Ummm, brothers'n sisters. They can get annoyin', 'specially when you've got as many as me!" She said with a laugh, grinning at his befuddled expression. Arrien "Yeeeeech...." Arrien suppressed a faint shudder at the mention of giant arachnids- there was something to entertain her nightmares. Screw you, AdventureSense(tm), she thought savagely, I'm not touching ANYTHING with spiders in it. "Well, if they're mostly gone, nothing to worry about," she said aloud, quickly working the subject away to something more pleasant- "So... that one's yours, I'm guessing?" She nodded over to where Fenrir and Aqua were conversing. "... I don't have any brothers or sisters," Fenrir sighed in disappointment. "I got Mom, and Uncle Gohma, and C-A... and sometimes Aunt Symph, too. But they're all grown-ups, and it's no fun. But... oh! But I got Moose, too. You wanna meet him?" Satin Regret Niko couldn't help but laugh at Arri's obvious disdain for a species she didn't mind at all, long's they didn't touch her. At her companions question, she automatically turned to look at the two kids, before grinning and nodding. "Yeah, one of the many, too many..." She said, rolling her eyes though it would be difficult for someone to see the motion through the blindfold.Aqua grinned broadly, nodding. "Sure! I'd love to meet Moose. An' be glad y'don't have as many as I do, waayy too many. Mum's always working to try and get more money for extensions on the house, so everyone's got enough room." She said with a shudder. Arrien "Oh, so you got an entire herd, then?" the Jack-of-all-Trades chuckled. There was something unbelievably amusing to Arrien about those people that seemed to pick up children like stamps for a collection. As long as they could cover the costs, Arrien had no actual objection to the behavior... but she was a believer in no more than three children a family, just to keep things from going too insane. "Fenrir's my one and only... and that wasn't necessarily a willing deal, though I wouldn't trade him for anything. But I wasn't really planning to get saddled with kids- well, ever, really...." Somewhere between "I'd love to meet Moose" and "Be glad you don't have as many as I do", Fenrir had managed to produce a black stuffed animal from behind him. It didn't seem like the boy had brought the toy over with him, but there wasn't much explanation as to how the medium-sized plush could have gotten there.... "This is Moose," Fenrir told Aqua, holding out the rather evil-looking thing with a big grin. "He's my friend. Moose," he addressed the stuffed creature now, "this is Aqua, she's my new friend. Okay?" Satin Regret SHe laughed ruefully. "You could say that. I just feel bad for kids that get kicked out or banished or something. Two of my kids got booted from Heaven and Hell, two were almost killed by their real mother, Aqua I adopted since she's some god's daughter, and the others were all just abandoned by their parents." She ticked all of these off on her fingers, the green vines on her left arm wriggling around in the light.Aqua giggled, shaking Moose's paw(Hand? Hoof?). "Nice t'meet'cha, Moose!" She smiled at Fenrir, bouncing happily. "Yay! Another friend!" She gave the boy a hug, grinning still. Arrien "Moose says its good to meet you, and you smell like bathwater," Fenrir told Aqua with a smile. "... Wow. You know, this explains a lot about Gaia," Arrien said musingly. "I mean, my kid came out of this little orb-thing, and does this weird stuff with pentagrams and throws around blue magic, and has this transvestite trying to kill him. Given that all the young population is so weird- well, it explains a lot about this place, you know?" She began to chuckle, but was interrupted by a ringtone. With an annoyed look, she grabbed a cellphone out of her jeans pocket and flipped it open. "Hello? Hey. What's up?... uh... right now?" Standing up and pressing the phone closer to her ear, the Jack-of-all-Trades listened carefully- then, with a sigh, said "I'll be there as fast as I can" and flipped it shut. Turning to the children, Arrien gave a disappointed grin as she said- "Oi, Fen! We've got things to do, so we're packing up." "Aww... but...." "Sorry, Fen, but we've got to go," Arrien said. Giving a sidelong look in Niko's direction, she loudly wondered- "Maybe they can come over and visit us sometime?" "... Okaaay...." With a sigh, Fenrir brought Moose to his chest and gave a sad wave to Aqua while Arrien grabbed up her backpack. "Call me sometime, Niko?" Arrien passed a business card over to her new acquaintance and, with a lazy gesture of her hand, herded Fenrir out the door. Satin Regret Niko couldn't help but laugh at her new friend's summary of Gaia. "Yeah, you should see some of the kids that come from the same place as Aqua! They're downright crazy, all with a nice little perk about them for the most part." She fell silent as Arri spoke on the phone, but smiled and nodded, accepting the card and slipping it into her skirt pocket. "Yeah, I think me'n Aqua would like that. Cya later, Arrien!" She said, waving as the two disappeared out the door.Aqua looked up as she heard the cell phone ring, grinning and doing a little 5 second jig to the music. When she heard the adults say it was time to go, she made a pouty face. "Awwwww. Cya later, then, Fen'?" She asked hopefully, grinning and waving as they left.

Fenrir's House, Transcribed 12:30pm, December 12th NOT DONE Satin Regret Aqua skipped up the path, twirling now and then, her currently unbound her billowing out in a sea green wave, muffling her laughter slightly. She was barefoot, as usual, despite the cold of the stone beneath her feet; She preferred that. When her water was hot, she got short tempered. She giggled as she hopped onto the front step, peering at the door before shoving a finger on the doorbell, grinning over her shoulder at her mom.Niko smiled indulgently at Aqua, walking up the pathway more slowly, trying to conserve her heat while wrapped in a thick fleece and a pair of fleece sweatpants, a 3/4 sleeve shirt underneath, with her wings wrapped round her shoulders to help keep warm. She stood behind Aqua, blowing warm air into her hands as the girl rang the door bell. Arrien Meanwhile, her arms occupied by a heavy chair that was supposed to be going into Fenrir's room, Arrien nearly dropped her load onto the basement floor at the unexpected ring of the doorbell. Probably Symph, she reasoned, struggling to get a better hold on her burden, over to start giving Fenrir his fighting lessons. Yeah, that's gotta be it...."I'll get it!" Sitting on the futon across the room, Fenrir pushed himself onto his feet and started for the stairs. "No!- no, Fen, no. You don't answer the door. I'll-" One side of the chair slipped from her grasp; the chair missed her foot by scant inches, instead making a startling landing on the newly-carpeted floor. "Damn it-- C-A! Will you go answer the door already?!" "Sure thing, Arri~!" The android's voice was as disgustingly cheerful as ever as it wafted down the stairs. The Jack-of-all-Trades stole a glance up at the thin sliver of living room visible from where she stood; the robot's blue-and-red cheerleading outfit was easy to spot, heading for the door to obey her command. After a pause for cursing and grumbling, Arrien hollered up an amendment- "If it's not Symphonie, don't let 'em in until I say otherwise!" "All right, can do!" While Arrien struggled to rebalance her load and drag it off into Fenrir's bedroom, the perky blonde tugged open the door, whirring slightly as she inspected the two people there and took a quick scan of their physical composition. "Hello! I'm sorry, but you're not Symphonie, so I can't let you in until Arri says otherwise," she reported with a broad smile. She seemed to be addressing only Niko as she said this; Aqua, naturally, had read only as water to her sensors, and was therefore none of her concern. Satin Regret Aqua cocked her head to the side curiously as the robot opening the door. When she appeared to not even notice Aqua, she puffed out her cheeks, pinching them and sticking her tongue out, before laughing merrily. "Course we ain't Symphonie! We're Aqua'n Mummy! Whose Symphonie anyways? An' who names their kid Symphonie?" She paused. "Pro'lly the same person who names their kid Aqua." She said with a grin over her shoulder.Niko had jumped abit when the door opened to a blond hair, metallic face robot. "Uhh... Aren't bots only allowed in Aekea...?" She mumbled, scratching her head. As Aqua started making faces, Niko gave her a light dopeslap to the back of the head, grinning with a soft laugh. Aqua's comment about names caused the young mother to stick her tongue out. "No, I'm not Symphonie, whoever that is. I'm Niko, and this is Aqua. Aqua wanted to come and play with Fenrir...?" She trailed off, fidgiting. Arrien "I'm not a robot!" The mechnical being protested. "I'm designated Cheerleader- Android Jika... C-A for short. If you'll wait here, please, I'll go--" The sound of a crash came from downstairs. A very big crash, if the vibrations carrying through the floor meant anything.... "C-A!" Starting as a desperate wail, the voice of the Jack-of-all-Trades turned swiftly to an accusatory screech. "DAMN IT, C-A! Give me a hand down here, will you?!" "Arri, you told me to answer th--" "Is it a guy in a dress?" A faint click from C-A's direction. "... Nope!" "Then let them in and GET DOWN HERE!" Satin Regret Niko and Aqua's faces might as well have been o_____O before Niko shrugged. "Android, bot, same thing to an angel." She let out a laugh at the reference to a man in a dress again, before slipping in, pulling her daughter after her. "Arri? It's Niko! Niko and Aqua!" She went towards the doorway where the yelling was loudest, peering down the stairs. "Errmm, want some help with that...?" She asked.Aqua giggled and skipped in after her mother, peering about, full of curiosity. She looked around for Fenrir, poking her head in the doorway where Arri was down below, grinning ear to pointed ear. Arrien The moment she peeked into the messy storage room below, Aqua was all but assaulted by an excited Fenrir, who cleared all the steps of the staircase in two seconds flight. "Aqua! Hi!" He matched her grin and added in a bounce of his heels. "What're you doing here?" Arrien, in the meantime, grumbled to herself as she sized up the chair. "No, no, it's fine," she said to Niko, eyeing the android as she obeyed her second command to assist. "C-A, take this into Fenrir's room and put it in the corner, all right?" "Sure thing, Arri!" Without hesitation or difficulty, the android lifted up the chair and headed for one of the two doors set towards the back of the storage room. Arrien watched her a moment, suspicious of how the android might screw up her orders; then, either satisfied or easily distracted, she turned her attention to her guests. "Oh, hey! Neko and Aka, right?" Arrien said cheerfully, getting the names within a few letters of their true selves. "What bring you by?" Satin Regret Niko grinned crookedly, raising an eyebrow. "Niko and Aqua, Sir Jack-of-all-trades." She said, laughing softly. "Aqua wanted to come and play with Fenrir, and I don't quite trust her to Zuko yet..." She shrugged helplessly, her blindfold slipping off her eyes a little.Aqua giggled, grinning while giving Fenrir a high five. "Wanted to play! Thatta crime?" She asked with a grin, almost as crooked as her mother's was. "An' its AQUA! Not Aka!" She told Arri with another giggle, grinning up at the adult. Arrien "Oh, right, right!" Arrien chuckled, seeming unabashed by her mistake. "Should've warned you- I'm horrible with names... I'll try to keep 'em straight from now on." Taking one last glance towards the bedroom where C-A would supposedly be putting the chair in the right place, Arrien dismissed the android with a shrug and focused solely on her guests. "Well, welcome to my humble little abode, anyway! Let's see, there are some warnings I think I'm supposed to give... uh... things are a bit messy- we're still cleaning up after that bum nearly burnt the place down, so watch your step... oh. And don't move the upstairs couch, or go behind it. No giving chalk, crayons, pencils, markers, or anything that can draw to Fenrir... and don't answer the door, all right? We're kinna screening guests right now." "And you're not supposed to pick up the koi," Fenrir pitched in, as helpfully as he could manage. "... Yes. No picking up the koi. Because they need water to breathe." From the amused twinkle in Arrien's eye, it seemed like there must be a story behind that... she didn't see any reason to launch into it, though. The rules all explained to their guests, Fenrir happily returned his attention to Aqua. With a shy sort of smile, he said, "No one's ever come over to my house to play with me before... so, uhm... what do you want to do?" Satin Regret Niko laughed, grinning and waving a hand. "Ha ha, no worries, you did better then some people I could mention." When she heard the explanation for the messiness, she merely raised an eyebrow, grinning and nodding with each thing. At the mention of the koi, Niko let out a laugh, kneeling down on the balls of her feet and smiling at Fenrir through her blindfold.Aqua giggled, grinning at Fenrir, and clapping her hands. "I'm the first! Yay! Do I get a prize?" She asked jokingly, laughing. "An' the fishy could breath with me, I'm made outta water!" She said proudly, pointing with her thumb to her chest.Niko had an exhasperated grin, prodding her daughter's back with a finger. "Leave the koi alone, got it? Ms. Arrien said not to pick it up, and we're in her house." She said, laughing. Satin Regret Niko laughed, grinning and nodding with a shrug. "Fine with me. Just trying to keep Aqua polite, seeing what her sister's been choosing to do lately..." She glowered at the floor, before shaking herself with another smile, hoping to stall any questions for the moment.Aqua giggled, twirling with a smile. "Yeah, it's christmas! Presents!" She clapped her hands delightedly, bouncing on her heels. "And yeah! I wanna see the fishies!" She laughed, though added, after a look from her mom, "Please!"

The Beach, Transcribed 1:30pm, January 19th From a private thread NOT FINISHED Satin Regret Aqua giggled, smiling brightly as she ran through the small waves, the water gittering in the air as it was kicked up in fat droplets by her feet. "Whee!" She fell down into the wet sand, laughing merrily as the water lapped up and around her feet. Lenachan358 Since Andraste had thought about spending more time with Jacosa, she had granted one of his wishes. He was eager to see the ocean. So they had packed some things, put Nila into a special baby carriage and drove off to the beach. Ranjit was supposed to take care of the troublemaker Otieno for today. The otter boy jumped out of the car and ran towards the waves squealing happily. As he was about to jump into the water he noticed another child nearby. Being a quite outgoing creature he called for her. " Hey !" Satin Regret Aqua tilted her head backwards, making a little dugout in the sand as she peered upside down at the funny looking boy. Nonetheless, she smiled brightly, waving a hand before rolling onto her belly, not caring in the least her white dress was now soaked. "Heyla! What's your name?" She grinned cheerfully. Lenachan358 " Jacosa, but friends call me Cosa. What's your name ?" He answered cheerfully. The otter had missed to meet new people and old friends and now he was glad to meet somebody beside his siblings. Curiously he watched her soaken her clothes and grinned. " Water is fun, right ?" Satin Regret She smiled. "I'm Aqua, but friends just call me... Umm... Aqua!" She grinnned, laughing. "Nice t'meet'cha, Cosa! And 'course it's fun, it's what I'm made out've!" She smiled, though she wasn't sure if he'd understand what she meant. Lenachan358 Jacosa moved closer to the water and allowed his feet to get wet. " You are made out of...water ? How's that ?" One of his paws moved to scratch his head. He adored water, he loved to swim...how was anybody able to BE out of it ? Satin Regret She frowned a little, not sure how to explain it. "Uhh, I'm an el'mental, or something." She shrugged, before smiling and holding out a hand. "I can do this, though!" She frowned again, her tongue poking out of the corner of her mouth, before a ball of water pulled itself out of her hand, before resting in her palm, for all the world like a normal rubber ball, though if he had poked it he would get a fairly wet finger. Lenachan358 The boy was indeed impressed and finally moved to sit down beside her. " Wooah, can you teach me ? He stared at the palms of his own hands and wondered how the girls did so. Did you need to be a water person ? His tail moved with excitement as he tried to repeat her actions, but it of course didn't work out. Satin Regret She shrugged a little as she sat up, curling her knees underneath her. "I dunno, never tried teachin' anyone. I think you hafta be a water person, or something. I've got friends that're made outta lightning and earth, and fire too." She smiled brightly, recalling her little earth cousin. "I don' really know how I do it, just that I can." She shrugged, not sure how to put it in words. "You could get a little backpack thinger an' fill it with water, then put a hose or somethin' and spray it at people." She giggled, smiling brightly. Lenachan358 Jacosa was astonished. " My sister has blue skin too. Perhaps she can do it too. But she's small." The otter tried to explain himself and watched the waves move towards their feet. He giggled as he heard about her idea and shook his head. " Aww, that's not the same. Do you want to go swimming ?" He pointed at the ocean in front of them. Satin Regret She giggled, grinning. "Blue skin? Is she a fishy person?" She smiled brightly at his question, hopping up and pulling him with. "Yeah! Swimming's fun!" SHe smiled brightly, plowing right into the waves with a laugh back over her shoulder. Lenachan358 " She doesn't have fins..." The boy was about to say as Aqua had already vanished. " Wait for me !" He called out and pulled off his t-shirt. Quickly the otter followed inside his shorts into the water. It was obvious that he was a very good swimmer. Lenachan358 "I love it too !" Jacosa called out and dove just to appear beside her and splash some water into her face. He really liked her laughter, it sounded so nice. Satin Regret She laughed, ducking back under the water just as the water went into her face. Grinning, she stayed under for a few minutes, longer then most people could hold their breath; she didn't have to worry about breathing, since she was made of what she was floating in. Lenachan358 " Aqua ?" Jacosa turned himself around a few times wondering if she could hold her breath for such a long time. Even when he was skilled he wouldn't be able to stay down there for so long. Quite worried he ducked under and tried to look out for her. Sadly he didn't see her because of her skin colour and went back to the surface. Hopefully she didn't get hurt ! Satin Regret After a suffiecient amount of time, she popped up out of the water behind him, leaning on his back with a grin. "Ha ha, didja miss me?" She giggled, grinning broadly. Lenachan358 As he felt something wet leaning against his fur Jacosa first thought of any kind of sea monsters, but indeed it was only Aqua. He glanced across his shoulder and grinned. " I was afraid you drowned." He admitted and nodded slightly. Lenachan358 " I'm not silly !" Jacosa pouted and wanted to swim back to the shore as he almost bumped into her. She was much too quick, he wasn't used to his. " Are you alone here, by the way ?" His eyes trailed back to their car and Andraste. Satin Regret She shrugged. "Kinda. My mom's nearby, somewhere. She said somethin' bout lookin' for the ice cream truck she saw on the way here." She giggled, grinning as she moved her arms a little to keep herself afloat.

( HERE is the link to Aqua/Marfa's Quest. Summary o/Quest: Friends travel to Rome for were-wolf holy water, Aqua becomes the "vessel" to carry it.) (Journal/Diary from Niko's view) Niko was sitting outside, sitting on the roof to be exact, sitting in a bizarre contraption she called a crazy creek, two pieces of bendable board and fabric tied together to make a portable, foldable chair. She was leaning against one of the walls that connected to the roof, an old discman sitting next to her while slowly playing random songs; a small purplish book, a diary, was resting in her lap, though how she managed to write when she could only see heat, even she didn't know, but she was writing nonetheless. It's been awhile, hasn't it? Wow, so much has happened. Craziness. I left a few months ago, I just had to see Raphael one more time. That's not too much to ask, is it? Sere certainly thought it was, but she was downright nasty about everything.- Niko sighed slightly, before going on - I left Shaia, Feinne, and Ginny in charge, since any one of them by themselves would destroy everything, but all together they're pretty good. Not sure how the kids reacted to them, but they certainly seemed happy to see me back! It wasn't too long after that Zuko went to some dance party, and I guess he met some girls there, 'cus he kept going on about how someone named "Alida" was teaching him signlanguage. Right. Sere actually went to school once, too! And she cut her hair...! Was it something I did? She just up and left one day, then came back with too many piercings to count, and hair that could rival a chicken's for crest size. Not to mention the guitar she randomly "comandeered" at some point when she was supposed to be in school. Damnit, do I have a mortal-criminal now, instead've just a heavenly one? Sere won't tell me anything anymore, just occasional comments about Lester, "Alida" again, and someone named Duncan. Her age? I hope so. Her type? I hope not! And Aqua's making friends like a bee makes honey; she far she's met a Kyou, Avery, Ritsu, Sybil, Sammy and a few more, who she loves hanging out with. She hasn't seem Marfa in awhile, not since their little "queest" to Rome. That turned out fine though, so I just try not to worry about it too much. Not much else has been happening. I decided to give the guardianship of the Durem Harpy-child to a friend of mine, Satine. I don't know if she can take care of her as well as anyone else, but she'll doo better then me at least. -Niko-
Nikomas quietly shut the book with a soft thud, before picking up her crazy creek and hopping gracefully off the edge of the roof. Spreading her wings a little to not hurt herself, she started heading in to make lunch.

Saturday, April 1st Playdate at Aqua's House w/Avery UNFINISHED Satin Regret Aqua was running around in the front yard, chasing her little dragon Baby Blue, who was flying around in the air, with Blobby following along behind her. Giggling, Aqua was jumping about, trying to jump into the air to reach Blue, before tumbling back down into the grass, her hair quickly coming out of the messy braid her mother had put it into. rimedragona Avery arrived at the bus stop, and he slid down from the seat to run out the door. He waved cheerfully at the bus driver before jumping out of the bus from the top step. He was near Aqua's house, he knew it from the little slip of paper he held in his hand. Rime had written him directions on how to get to Aqua's house, and strict instructions to call her when he'd gotten there. He figured out which way the houses were numbered, and trotted down the street in the direction he thought was right. Sure enough, before long, he saw a familiar blue form dancing about her lawn. "HEY! AQUA! WHAT'S UP?" he yelled, running in her direction, waving. Satin Regret Aqua looked up from where she lay on her belly, before grinning cheerfully. Rolling onto her back, she swung her legs up then forward, pulling herself up with a shout. "Avery, about darned time you got here!" She said, grinning as she waved, skipping over to stop in front of him, the little dragon floating behind her as Blobby squished after her. rimedragona Avery skidded to a halt next to her. "Whatever. I don't drive the bus, ya know, and people were gettin' off left 'an right." He rolled his eyes. He looked over at Blobby, which he didn't know the name of, and asked, "Ah... wha--who is that?" he asked, changing words in midsentence, because you never know what's sentient and can kick your butt. Satin Regret Aqua giggled, stooping down to pick up the blob. "I dunno, actually. His name's Blobby though. And I think it's a him." She giggled, grinning. She pointed up at the little dragon floating around their heads, lazily flapping it's wings. "An' that's Baby Blue, or jus' Blue." She smiled brightly, turning on her heels to run back into the yard. "C'mon, we can go climb the roof! We jus' gotta wear shoes, 'cus it's really hot." rimedragona Avery waved to Blobby, and Blue, then turned to look at the roof. He made a face at the directive to wear shoes, though. "Are you sure? All I got are these flip flops, and I only wore these 'cause I was on the bus," he pointed at his feet, wiggling his toes. But she ran towards the house, so he he sighed, and decided he'd make the best of it, and ran after her. Satin Regret Aqua laughed over her shoulder. "That should be fine. The shingles're just real hot, but I can splash them to make'em cool down too." She smiled as she jumped up onto a lawn chair, which she had set conveniently under a drain pipe. Hopping up, she grabbed onto the pipe, swinging her legs for a moment before pulling herself up. "C'mon!" rimedragona Avery waited until she was a good ways up; he didn't think the drain pipe would bear both of their weights for long, no matter how small they were. Experience can tell you some things, after all... Then he climbed onto the chair himself, and leapt up, getting a good handhold around the metal tube, and setting his feet so they would press against the pipe. He inchwormed up the side of the house, making good progress. Nearing the top, he reached up over the edge, got a good grip on the rough surface -- which was indeed quite hot -- and pulled himself over the edge, standing with his hands on his hips and looking out at the view. "Cool! You can see other people's yards from here!" he exclaimed with a grin. Satin Regret Aqua giggled, helping to pull him up by tugging on his shirt collar; the heat didn't hurt her too much, since she was made of water, but it did make her little white feet steam slightly. "Yeah! It's fun to come up here, 'specially when it's rainin'. Mum gets mad at me for that, but it's fun." She said with a smile. rimedragona Avery looked down at the roof. "Doesn't it get slippery?" he asked, and slid his foot around on it to test it out. It seemed to have some texture, so maybe he was wrong. Then a thought occured to him. "But I guess you don't care if it's slippery, right, Aqua?" he asked, grinning. Satin Regret Aqua grinned broadly at him over her shoulder, shaking her head. "Nuh-uh, doesn't matter to me." She clambered over the side of the roof, making for a flat sqaure where there were some chairs they could sit in. rimedragona Avery followed, grinning at the fact that the roof had been made into another place to sit and relax. You could do the same on the roof of his house... but then, his house was built into a hill, so that wasn't very exciting at all. "So what did you have planned?" he asked. Satin Regret Aqua slid over the tiles to land down on the flatter part of the roof, smiling at him still. "Dunno, I guess. We don't have any real good trees for climbing, just the roof." rimedragona "Wellll.... you got any parks around here?" he asked. If he was expected to stay up on a roof all day... He could see his way to balancing on the edge and maybe seeing who could throw stuff the farthest, but after that, a roof wasn't very interesting. Satin Regret She frowned, before shrugging a little. "I think we've got one. We havn't gone to it since Mom found this sick man there, and he's been livin' with us since then. Still dunno his name, but mum has me talk to him in his head sometimes." Aqua grinned sheepishly. rimedragona This was something interesting. "Sick guy? Does he have the flu, or something?" he asked, moving over by Aqua and plopping down next to where she was. He looked up at her. "And I didn't know you could talk in people's heads!" he said with a grin. That was cool, too. Aqua could do a lot of cool things. Satin Regret Aqua shook her head, confusion written on her face. "I dunno. Mom doesn't either; she tried doing magicky stuff, but she says it hurt him, didn't help. All we know is he's sick."
She giggled, grinning. "Kinda. I can only do it when I'm underwater, like, head to toe under water." rimedragona Avery was confused, but he said, "Maybe he's not sick. Maybe somone else cast stuff like your mom did, only bad, on him." He sat down so his feet were dangling over the inclining part of the roof. "Well, you can still do it. That's cool!" he said, grinning back. Satin Regret Aqua shrugged; she really didn't know, she just knew the magicky stuff made him hurt worse, and her talking to him sometimes seemed to help a little. "Maybe, I dunno."
She smiled over at him, befpre standing back up. "Wanna head to the park then? I'm sure it's okay with my mom, she said long's we stick together we're okay." Aqua smiled brightly, tugging her long hair over her shoulder. rimedragona Avery nodded enthusiastically. "yeah! Does the park have stuff to play on?" he asked idly, and sauntered over to the edge of the roof, looking down again. He wondered if it was too high to jump. It didn't seem any higher than the swing set, and certainly not as high as that rubble on the beach... Satin Regret "Yeah, lotsa benches an' a fountain!" With a grin, she hopped over to the edge of the roof, looking at Avery from the corner of her eye. "Thinking of jumping?" She grinned, and hopped off the roof, her body turning see-through as she turned to liquid, landing on the ground with a splash. She reformed solidly, and grinned up at him. "Try landing like that, haha." She didn't really want him to jump, she was afraid he'd land right on his feet. "Jump and try to roll forwad." rimedragona Avery stuck out his tongue. He knew how to jump off things. "I know that!" he exclaimed, and then demonstrated that he did indeed know how, taking his roll over his shoulder, his wings tucked in close to his body so they wouldn't get hurt by him rolling on them. "Okay! so, now we go to the park, right?" he asked eagerly once he'd gotten up. There were bits of grass stuck in his hair and wings, but he didn't seem to take any notice of them. Satin Regret Aqua started laughing as Avery leapt off the roof, landing in a rolling tumble before hopping onto his feet. With a smile, she nodded, jogging out to the front entrance. "Yeah, this way!" She shouted over her shoulder, jogging in place right where the front fence ended as she waited for him. rimedragona Avery wasn't far behind, and as he caught up to Aqua, he craned his neck about, looking for any sign of the park in the distance. He brought his attention back to her, and laughed when he saw her jogging in place. "Okay, then, let's go already!" he said. Satin Regret She grinned again, taking off down the street, her bare feet slapping the concrete ground loudly as she lead the way to the park, down a few streets till all they saw was green grass and trees around them, with a black fence signifying the exit. "Here we are." Aqua said with a smile, grinning over her shoulder. rimedragona "That looks great! C'mon, I'll race you to that big tree there!" he said, and took off running again as he pointed towards the tree. He was determined that he would win this time. Satin Regret Laughing merrily, the elemental zipped off after Avery, her feet slap-slap-slapping the ground as she ran, chasing after him. Giggling slightly as he pulled ahead, Aqua shoved off the ground with a push of her legs, jumping onto Avery's back. "Gotcha!" rimedragona Avery yelped as weight was suddenly put on his back, and unable to use his wings to steady himself, he wobbled around, nearly going over onto his nose. But he caught himself with great effort, his arms flying out. Then they automatically came in to tuck under Aqua's knees, holding her piggy back. "Geez, Aqua! Warn a guy, first! I don't mind bruises, but a broken nose is too much, right?" he complained, but there wasn't any real rancor in his voice. What did he care about a broken nose, other than it would piss off Rime and slow him down for a while? Pain was only momentary, after all. He bounced her up a little further on his back, adjusting one wing at the same time and securing his grip. She wasn't very heavy. Satin Regret Aqua giggled as he almost toppled, before righting himself. "Don't worry; I trust'cha! You wouldn't drop me." She said confidently, grinning and hanging her arms over his shoulders while still maintaining her cheery grin. "The fountain's just up there." rimedragona "Well, I'd be more likely to break your fall than drop you, but still." He said, a grin evident in his voice. He liked that Aqua would trust him like that. Now that they were in the park, he kicked his sandals off to one side of the path and ran barefoot in the direction that Aqua had indicated. "So what's this fountain look like?" he asked, curious. Satin Regret She giggled, wiggling her toes; she didn't have any shoes, since she didn't usually wear them except when she got dressed up. "It's reeall big, as tall as a couple me and you's, and it's really pretty. Like, it's got a couple shelve things, and it's all lighted'n stuff." Aqua finished with a smile, having pulled one of her arms from his neck to hold it up above her head.
