Butterfly.

That little voice in the back of her mind told her it wasn't good to wander away like she had, but she chose to ignore it after informing it of two things. The first being she wasn't going to go too far, and the second to let her be, because hearing voices she wasn't in control of probably was bad. Even if it was her 'concious' or whatever those were called...

Besides, this wasn't just any butterfly. This one was a bunch of colors she'd never seen before on a butterfly.

Unfortunately, the winged creature caught on to her tracking it, and flew out of her reach before she could do much about it. She highly doubted yelling something along the lines of 'come back!' would have any effect.

Lady Luck didn't seem to like her very much today. As she watched the variety of colors go up, up, up, a rain drop fell down, down, down and hit her nose. It was soon followed by many more, and the wild dog had retreated into a poor cave a pile of rocks had created.

Ujuzi had managed to make out the signs of the oncoming rain, and herded all the little ones back into the family den with the instruction to stay with their father or answer to Ujuzi later, all but Momo and Gzifa it seemed. Momo's disappearance hardly came as any surprise, but for Gzifa to still be out was rare. The mother grew concerned, and so after dragging her wild-oldest from hiding, brought the pup along with her to find their daughter and sister.

"Gzifa!" Ujuzi called, walking through the rain, every now and then her eyes fluttering quickly in reaction to the raindrops hitting her face. And what was Momo doing through their search?

Momo's laughter broke through the heavy pitter-patter of the rain now and again, her white and orange pelt littered with brown splotches as well now.

Jumping into mud puddles. Lovely.

There was a cave up ahead, crude though it was, and Ujuzi thought she saw a spot of brown hiding in the shadows. She finally relaxed then and stopped calling, heading towards the makeshift shelter with Momo messily in tow.

"At least one of us is dry." She quipped, not bothering to shake her soaked fur loose with how heavy the downpour was coming.

Uh oh.

Gzifa whined, long and pitifully. It never settled well with her to make either parent worry, but it had started raining just like that! It was either hide under here or get wet, and she didn't want the later. Not at all.

Her nose wrinkled back in disgust at the sight of her sibling. She didn't understand how someone could so willing gambol in mud like that. "I'm sorry," she attempted, voice sincere, and looked to her mother. "Am I in trouble?"
