Stein amazed us....or....
monarchs are getting weekier...
.........
.........
and why did burn decks top 8?
1. Not surprised the Stein won. It's not hard to lucksack three rounds. Now, I was surprised that Rodriguez won the second game in the finals on his first turn.
2. Stein isn't amazing. A Stein deck always Top 8s. They're easy to play and don't really take much skill to use. I'm not saying David Rodriguez wasn't skilled, I'm just saying Stein decks in general aren't that amazing these days.
3. Monarchs aren't getting weaker. It's hard to say a deck's weak when all it does the entire game is set 1 monster before the opponent Steins for the win. Really, the only thing happening is that other decks are getting stronger to close the gap between them and Monarchs.
4. Chain Burn is the most incredible burn strategy there is. Think of it this way. With Chain Strike, it's possible to deal 7000 damage in one turn, more if your opponent plays into your hand.
