So, I'm sick, but that's not the point.
My dad took me to the docter's office this morning, because I've been having a fever and really painful coughing.
When we were checking in at the front desk, the lady asked my dad if I was willing to give any biological data retrieved durring the appointment,
And to sign the confidentiality slip.
He told her that I didn't want to,
And signed the paper.
When we went back to sit down, I asked him what she was talking about.
He told me that the Oregon (which is where I live) Legislators passed a law recently stating that,
With the permition of the patient,
Biological data retrieved can/will be used for any Bio-Genetic Mutation testing.
In case you're wondering what biological findings can be used,
Here's a list:
-Blood
-Urine
-Hair
-Skin
-Feckle Matter (Poo)
-ETC.

Discuss:
You're views on this law.?
Does this effect you (obviously only if you live in Oregon)?
Any other laws that use findings at the docters that you think are odd.
