ever realize how much has been done in the past century, like the fact we know about global warming but arent making a serious effort to stop it, or the lazyman's way out of making more ozone for our planet? sure we invented the battery-powered/solar-powered car/corn-powered car, but what about the hydrogen car? and if we cant stop global warming why not just start taking some of the ice near the north and south poles and putting them on the moon or something? we send our troops in iraq food and care packages, but what about the people who are actually starving and not just running on an empty stomache for a few hours? what's so hard about any of that? all they require is some math or an address change or even a couple rockets into space.

either way the president is racist against foreigners but we are all natives of the earth so we really shouldnt fight, instead worry about our future.

I think that there are several factors in the people's ignorance of global warming and other such issues:
1. Most people are self-centered. They drive cars, smoke, etc for their personal enjoyment. For instance, people who face global warming do dot care much right now because they think that they'll be dead by the time it really becomes a problem.
2. Most people are lazy. They don't want to bother with the thought invovled with creating ideas to fix problems, nor are they willing to put in unnecessary effort.
