Ya, I suppose if it's a really sucky car it might work. ^.^ I wanna try it someday, just to weird the car dealership people out. xd

My friends questioned that too...they were like "Wait, a guitar is really worth the car?" then they saw the car and...well, yeah.lol.

i thought that since his band was semi-popular maybe his guitar would be worth something because he was almost famous. that was always my reasoning behind it but i guess its a little farfetched

Well, it wouldn't unless the guitar was unique somehow. It probably came down to it's age.
