I work in the aquatics section at a petstore, and it's been really bad on my wallet. (But I love my fishies!)

On top of my eighty gallon system, I now have a pretty little two gallon and a shiny new ten gallon. The two gallon has a betta (Ozymandias) and the ten gallon.. Also has a betta. (A female - Margaret.) 4laugh

There's a gorgeous thirty-six gallon system that's on sale and would be oh-so-perfect for the fresh water Moray we just got in.. But I'm trying to avoid temptation. I only have a week to go before the sale is off. (And believe me, $240 for the pretty tank, the hood, and the gorgeous stand is HARD to resist. gonk )

Am I the only one with such a dangerous job? My house is going to be brimming with little fish-tanks before it knows what hit it.

Ooh my goodness.

I would certainly not be able to keep a job like that for very long. I have bills to pay, you know!

It's bad enough that I can hardly control myself from buying new tanks and fish under everyday circumstances. I don't need something like that to encourage me. XD

Even something as simple as heading to Walmart is difficult for me. I always have to swing by their pet-supplies section to look at the few tanks of fish they keep stocked. It's extremely difficult to keep myself from "adopting" the goldfish and nursing them back to health, but somehow I manage to supress it. ;-; heart

Check the backgrounds on the freshwater moray. Many times they're actually saltwater Snowflake Eels that are forced to adapt to fresh climates which is cruel to the fish and if it was not adapted correctly, (should never be adapted at all), it is fatal.

He's actually a sort of spiny eel, and not a moray at all. (He's just labeled as one, for whatever reason. There's no such thing as a freshwater moray.)

We sell Snowflakes. I know the difference. 3nodding
