okay so back in the day, i had friends that well, werent Christians. and when i think back to that time in my life i realize now that it was pretty dark. I guess my walk with God wasnt as strong. My friends claimed to be Christians but they werent....others flat out said no they werent and made fun of me for it, or made fun of the fact that i listened to some Christian music. But i suppose this teaches me that who you surround yourself with is really important. I didnt use to think so but its true. Now all my friends for the most part are Chrsitians and its nice to have close friends who i can relate too even go to church with. I dont want to preach to anyone or anything i just thought i would share this with you. You may not even realize what is happening but if you are completely surrouned by these people then they start to pull you away. Maybe just sit back and examine your friendships or dont.

I just started a new job. And almost all of my co-workers were christian in a point of their lives. It's so exciting to know that I am going to be such an instrument of God!!

Sadly, it's different for me...my Christian friends are pushing me away from God whereas my nonChristian friends are willing to talk with me *not to me* about religion and they're the ones keeping me on the path when my Christian friends only point out my flaws.

But if not, then maybe they arent the type of christian people they say they are.

They should try to be more like Jesus, when he saved the woman who was going to be killed with stones, remember? He said 'go and do not sin' (or something like that, my bible is in spanish) but He NEVER went spying on her to see if she went back to sin.

Well, if it wasn't for one of my witch friends I probably would have given up a long time ago. We made a bit of a promise; as long as I kept with God, she wouldn't torment the agnostic's and emo's. I have to give to her that she has kept her promise and I managed to pursuade her to come to a meeting, but bad experiences kept her away.
But it is good to have Christian friends in your life. I can't at my school, I got kicked out of the Christian Union for being 'too loud' and 'too upfront' and 'too unconventional'. OK not what they said but in esscence that's what they meant. In short they kicked me out because I was a loud, proud, radical christian as my darling witch friend put it.
I have two witch friends. One is into black magic, the other is in to white magic. The one I made the promise with is the black witch and the one I quoted is the white witch.

It has been like this for me also, It is my Christian friends who are treating my like a doormat for the most part, and the few non- Christian friends that I have are actually opening up to me more. I realize that my Christian friends (some of them) are going through some hard times in their lives right now, and others are slowly turning away from God to persue more worldly things. Usually I am the person who looks for others to depend on, but I find more and more that the "Christian" people I could once depend on are now very worldly and unreliable. It is strange how things change like that, but I feel that God is using it to make me stronger and more independent. We have also just moved to a new city, so I am waiting to see what God has in store for me there in the way of friends.
