*hasn't played in a while* Hiyo! I'm just picking up my controller with Suiko V again, and I was wondering if you guys could give me some quick tips. 1) What level should I be when I get there, so I can pawn the last boss? I'm not good at turn-based battle really, so be generous please. ^^ 2) ...Where is it again? *last played 6 months ago* directions would be great.
Thank you! ^^ I can't wait to see the ending!

I was around level 65 for everyone when I fought the Sun Rune. Do you mean directions TRHOUGh the Ashtwal Mountains or just TO the? because TO them: Go to Lunas and then to where the giant waterfall is, go to where Lym, Sialeeds, and Miakis had the ceremonial bath, and that's that. THROUGH them is a different story.

Level 60+ is good.
Try GameFAQs.com.
This could have easily gone in the sticky.

is say lv 60 or higher for all your characters cuz you need to split into like 3 groups if i recall correctly and make sure armor and weapons are good and strong. and lots of good healing items. always better to be prepared sweatdrop

Every Suikoden game you should shoot for level 60, since that's the softcap for levels, and the point where levelling starts offering diminishing returns.
