They're sort of.. subtly disturbing. The first one reminds me of a skull. The second one, the viewer standing at the end of a long, blood-colored hall in the depths of the earth, staring up at some great demon. And the third one? Hmm. Sitting on an ice-planet, staring up at the cosmos. <33
But they're -very- pretty. I love this sort of art. Your boyfriend must have been happy. : D
