Kijivu made a soft murmur as he curled tighter around Yuka, his beautiful Yuka. Licking gently behind her ear, the gray dog made another little noise, then laid his chin over her back. "Everything we have no is just so perfect..." He said quietly, shifting his gaze towards her face and smiling. "I'm so glad that we have a family now." He added, wagging his tail a little and grinning even wider, snuggling closer to his pale mate and watching her light eyes carefully, trying to deteermine the emotion hidden within them.

It was harder and harder to detect the former lonliness that the cloud-colored dog had grown up with. There was pain in a buried past underneath it all but she'd buried it good and no longer cared to look at it. Sapphire eyes met those of her mates and she licked his cheek tenderly. There was not much to be said these days but so much to do. The pups went wandering so much that Yuka had given up with trying to keep track and had only prayed for their safety. All mothers worry and Yakuti was no different. She was just as worried as any other female would be and she longed to know if all her pups were well. They were her pride and joy and they belonged to her and Kiji. They were a joy that she would share with no one else for it was perfect as it was.
"Yes, a family of our own. I do miss the others though... Temari and Jamaa and their little pups." A sigh escaped the dogs maw and she lay her head in her paws. "We're together with our pups, that's all that matters dearest Kiji."

His ears flicked softly with every one of her words, like music, ringing through the den, just big enough for their not-so-little family of eleven. The gray male felt his cheek grow warmer in the spot his mate licked and then turned to lick her back, eyes twinkling with affection. "Our family...we have so much Yuka. I miss them as well, perhaps we should visit soon?" He asked, quirking a brow delicately and letting one of his ears fall to the side. "I would love to see how the boys are getting along, and I'm sure our pups would love the trip." He added with a lopsided grin, closing his eyes and nuzzling her a little.

"They would," Yuka agreed most kindly and closed her eyes into the affection he showed her. Kiji had always been so kind to her and he had always been the right one for her. She never knew another that made love so straightforwardly simple. It was true that the amount of pups they had was startling, even more so that they all survived... but she was proud of them all. Proud that they were Kiji and hers and that they would grow up to be fine young things. Her eyes flickered back and she wondered if perhaps she'd ever get a chance to see her friends and entire family together at one time... the thought seemed like a nearly fantastical faraway dream.

"What is my beautiful Yuka thinking?" Kiji inquired, nudging her gently. The look in her eyes...it was a look of longing, that wass clear. But what was she longing for so? Kiji would do anything it took to make sure his love was happy, even if it meant personal sacrifice. "I need you to be happy, can I do anything to help?" He added carefully, laying his ears back and smiling. He wagged his tail again and then looked towards the entrance of the cave, able to see the majority of their beautiful litter rough housing not too far away.

"Jamaa.... Temari... our pups. I've not seen them all for so long. Not all together. Most of our pups go wandering and I don't know where to... I worry and worry that they'll get hurt but I know I can't keep them so close though I desire to. I just wish they'd stay with their mother a little more..." How odd it was that she desired such things, for when she was carrying the bundles of fuzzy joy that were romping about, she had been terrified of the notion. Rightfully so! Yakuti was naught but a small dog, smaller then most and so she was also more fragile. Her body had barely been able to deal with the nine of them and she had nearly given into the fatigue and pain of it all. However, she had lived to take care of those precious children that were the creation of her and her one true love and now they scattered. She was dreadfully unhappy for such things but knew she could nothing to prevent it.

"I thought such might be the case." Kiji said quietly, licking Yuka again softly and then shuffling a little and standing. "Well, why don't we go and find them, and we can round them up, they can visit their aunt and uncle." He said, grinning broadly and bending to nudge her gently. "I know how much you miss them....and I mean all of them." He added, wagging his tail and looking down at her, eyes full of love and devotion.

Yakuti's sapphire eyes immediately scanned him to see he was serious and her ears perked. She was loathe to move for she had been comfortable with Kiji against her but the prospect of all of her family together was too great and she needed it. "Oh Kiji, please can we? All the little ones together and we can go visit Temari and Jamaa! I do miss them... I miss having our pups snuggle close to us and I don't even think I said goodbye to Temari or to Jamaa." She was gaining momentum in her happiness as the seconds passed and she stood up and nuzzled Kiji with all that emotion.

Kiji chuckled softly, nuzzling Yuka. "Settle down, I don't want you getting to excited...of course we can, I would never lie to you darling." He said quietly, nuzzling her again as his tail wagged behind him. He looked at his beautiful mate a moment longer, then padded from the cave, barking loudly, to call their pups to their parents. "I'm so excited now to see the rest of our family again dear." he chuckled, tail wagging even more as he grinned at her.
