I don't Believe this. one of the greatest axes of all time has been discontenued.My friends lets all hold a moment of silence for the Silvertone Paul Stanley Apocalypse special. post your openion on this subject here.

Well, if they made version with, say, better pickups (Duncan JB/ Jazz or EMG 81/85, anyone?) and maybe a neck-thru. Say, a good $700 at least version. That would be a killer idea, I'd buy that (in the cracked mirror finish).

i think it's good to discontinue things because then if you actually have an item which has been discontinued, it makes it that much more special.
