First, I was supposed to go to a movie with my one friend, and we've had these plans for over a week, but now she's going to her brother's hockey game because she's obsessed witha guy on the team even though he's not that great. Then I was supposed to go to the mall with my other friend, and we've had these plans since this morning, but now she's hanging out with a different friend and I bet they are going to the mall, even though they said they won't. This hurts me so much. I do so much for my friends, but then they seem to use me. They are all in my prayers, and I would never do anything to hurt any of them, but they treat me horribly sometimes. I'm starting to think that a lot of them are just pretending to be my friend. I am trying to get out of the house more often, but I can never find anyone to do anything with, because they all have plans with another friend. I bet they feel like I'll ruin their fun if I hang out with them. I don't know what to do anymore. I hate this feeling, but I don't want to confront them on it.

*hug* A lot of people do this...me included...it's not that they mean to purosly, it's just that they're so caught up in excitement that they forget sometimes...it's not any kind of excuse...but just know that if they were any kind of friend in the first place, they'll realize that they're hurting you and try to make up for it.

Just remember that God is the God of Friendship, and he can heal yours! I know that sometimes friends can let you down, but God never will. All you can do is hang on to that fact and pray.

I've had a lot of people tell me that they've been stabbed in the back by friends a lot, and I always think "Well then they're not friends now are they?"
So I've been thinking lately, why do people hang around those who aren't their true friends?

Wow, i'm sorta having a problem just like you. Well, it's good that you pray for them. They don't seem as strong as you. My advice: find different friends. It's good to get out of the house, but at least have fun. If you feel they don't like you, i wouldn't consider that fun. Or try going for a run? That makes you feel better (some hormone releasing thing...)
Well, i'm just saying, if they are going to lie behind your back, which is VERY rude, or cancel on you, then you don't have to spend all your freetime waiting for them. I would say to forgive them, but start finding new friends. Those really, honestly don't seem very trust worthy. (I don't know them myself, just from what you've said)
Sorry if that's not helpful, but the main message that came clear to me was that you shouldn't be waiting around for them if they're going to cancel and lie to you.
