I know there is an area for this but it takes so long for anyone to answer. I need helptonight. I have a choice between and peavy millenium BXP 5 string or a ESP LTD B55 5 string. which one would be better?

definatelly the peavey, i think thats a pretty good bass for what it is, esp's are just garbage!

mmmmm, the esp had this weid pick upand there was 2 regular pick up's but then there was this thing that looked liked a big pick up but I don't know what it is. here you guys can see them. there are different colors on the side of the page.

Those are both Regular pick-ups on the ESP, but one Is a J-Bass style pickup(the long one) and the other is a P-bass pickup. While they look like two, they're really one, I believe.

The Esp looks better, but not sure about sound. I would go with the esp ltd. And their not garbage! stressed

It's VERY hard to go wrong with a Peavey, quality construction (many of the even budget instruments are made in the US), golden sound, and renowned reliablity. Our Jazz band had an old Peavy Foundation and the thing is sweet, and was probably only $200 new. I say Peavey, but the choice is yours.

I have a preference for ESP over Peavey. Peavey's make decent amps and cabs but their instruments don't really feel up to par with me. Also, ESP I'm more familiar with, as two former bandmates played F-50 guitars. Go to http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ there they have reviews that I've found really helpful when narrowing down choices on investments.
