As for an entrance fee for individuals Id say anywhere from 0-100g and no more.
Why? becuase we dont want to seem like an ivory tower. We are supposed to be a group for the people, so why should we put an additional barrier between us and the people?
Now what im not agaisnt is an entrance fee for Guilds, and Id say a much more substantial fee that would cover all of its members...
At the very least it would cover property taxes for some of the massive bases held by these groups... I wouldnt consider GA branches required as, well... rarely does the home team have to deal with such things, but when we start getting other groups added to the roster its something we may want to consider.
[edit] Im well aware the GN falls under such a catagory for the required fee. name a price and im willing to pay it

You must also take into consideration the features that the guild would be able to do with the money from entrance fees and donations such as: Guild Quests, Guild Weapons, etc.
I say 100-250 is reasonable, ONCE we actually have a guild that's set up and something to do with the gold that is.

Graphic Features should always be secondary to the RP...
but ID say that 100 gold per individual plus an annual due of 1000+ per organization would quickly bring in quite a bit of cash.

Hm, not a bad offer. The 1k thing wasn't quite brought to my attention...

well 1k is just an example, but I suppose I should have added that example in my first response for clarities sake.
basically Id say whatever the individual fee is atleast to a power fo ten for an organization to be paid in a somewhat regular basis (annual, bi-annual, seasonal)... this means that the guild is well established, can have its members add atleast a certian percentage for donation to keep its licenses and such.

That could pose it's own problem right there. After 20 payments of let's say 1k, they could of already bought their own guild and manage it how they like. While admin slots for guilds are aways off, you do have to realise the problem(s) that could happen if they feel they don't have enough power or even the reverse, that they have too much of it.
I say this because they may riot due to the feeling of lack of power, while they could delete, edit, etc. posts in other people's threads if we do give them mod powers to manage their guild/army/etc. better. Once they remake the GGN then we will be able to slot them as admins and mods for their own area, but that is a LONG ways off, and might not even happen.

Last I checked the intention was not to prevent guilds from haveing their own GGN but to be united under the GG. I dont see the individual guilds haveing their own GGN as a problem at all in sense it would be like the way the AMP is now but much more interactive.
"this thread/guild is regulated by the Gaian Government and upholds all standards, and regulations"
Tag such a line in an intro pos, and send delegations or represenetives tot eh GG and voila GG membber status.
As for giving individuals crew power becuase they joined as a guild leader. persoanlly I dont see why thats necessary. if there is a set of active dedicated Crew members I dont see why direct control would be needed... the problem beign haveing dedicated, and active crew members. when they do branch off and create there own GGN they wont need that crew status anymore.

The idea I had was that the GG would be it's own microcosm of guilds that acknowledge being in the same canon as each other, and following the same RP rules.

Do we have a finalized set of these rules? I see the Codes of Conduct, but they aren't rules for RPs.

Tutsumi Do we have a finalized set of these rules? I see the Codes of Conduct, but they aren't rules for RPs. I thought we were using guidelines from the Anti-Munch Project (AMP) as an ideal of what NOT to do, but otherwise we were free to RP within reason.

Okay. Since most have fallen between 100-250, price should be set at 150G (less than half the average). If there are no other objections I have a request.
REQUEST: Can we now close/erase this thread?

I'd rather it stay open until the GG is ready to open it's doors and let the people flood in.

Tanasha I'd rather it stay open until the GG is ready to open it's doors and let the people flood in. lol Oh wait... you're serious. sweatdrop *ahem* well imo it'd be better to bring it up when needed. Guild is starting to look messy. Ken no like messy. Plus, its one least thing to distract people. domokun Anyway, as I mentioned... yea, 150G.

It's no longer an announcement. When the GG nears readiness I'll pin it back up there for awhile.
