Here is a place in which you may discuss Rock, Metal, and Death metal music.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of alt rock and nu metal. It's gotten better while the general rock has lowered and now we have new rock. Ex. Panic at the Disco, Bullet for my Valentine, and bands like them. It's even classified as emo in the rock category. As a metal head, fan of real rock like mudvayne it pains me to see such bands calling themselves rock when they clearly don't know how to rock out.

I know that but I'm just saying that they aren't rock now. They are more emo than true rock. Personally I think their music is okay but to me their lyrics are soaked in emoness at times.

Not when you're at a concert standing there and crying. Just because you're g/f or b/f broke up with you a year ago.
