My church has youth group (6th-12th grade) every Wednsday. Last night... was amazing to say the least. We started with worship (as we do every night) and sang a few songs, and you could feel God coming in, little by little. My pastor spoke for about a minute, saying that last week, he had invited God to come take over the meeting on night. And last night, He took the invitation and took over. My pastor didn't even preach. We just worshipped the whole time. He let anyone who wanted to say something that was in their hearts talk. One girl spoke about how you run to Christ, you just give him a little bit of you, and then He says that He loves you, and you are absolutely ruined for Him.
Another girl talked about how she had just learned to trust. She had been going through some difficult things, and she had slowly been edging away form God. Last week, she sought Him, and she said it was amazing.
There were other little speeches too, and even though they were all less than 3 minutes, they impacted me the most. I tell you, it was amazing. God is amazing.

*At my church, when we say the God ruined us, we mean that He totally changed our old ways and now He is our everything. Just wanted to clear that up!

Hmm...hadn't had any of those types of experiences yet, but for this month at our high school ministry, we will be doing a Nacho Libre-themed Sunday youth service. xd
