I just thought I would start a forum to honor all those dance teachers and/or friends and family for their advice and support. If you have a story or just want to respectfully "brag" about someone you are welcome to spill it all out here. Please keep everything positive, no negitive tangents. If you want to vent just start another forum.

I love my instructor!!! She's danced professionaly, knows her sport, she's an empath and a healer and focuses on technique. She also teaches for the love of dance. She has been my dance savior espcially since I have fairly flat feet and it takes a lot of work to train my arches. It could me almost two years to dance, on flat, without my arches cramping and my knees slipping.

My teacher Samantha is brilliant - she's got her education at the Royal Academy of Dance in England. She really "knows her stuff" xp
I notice that when we have substitutes, I miss her soooo much because I learn more from her and she knows us, you know?
But now she's pregnant AND sick so I probably won't see her for a loooong time cry
Anyways, yay Samantha! biggrin

It was hard when she was away, the sub wasn't as good as she was.
Didn't have the same excitement or personality.
I love Franny. I've known her since I was 2 years old. My father was friends with her mother. Thats what got me started in dancing. She's also a Special Education Teacher. She's one of the greatest & more patient people I've ever met. She's helped me soo much. I wouldn't be the same without her & her teachings.

My Dance teacher, Miss. Erin, is not only are teacher, but runs the whole ballet school, we have other teachers, but at our level, she is the one who teaches us! She is really strict, but I like her a lot, as an example, at the begenning of the year, one day we walked, and were going to go bring the bars out to center floor, when she said, put them back, for the rest of the year we will not use bars! So from then on we danced at center floor!

My faveorite dance teacher was Frances...She used one of my best friends as a demonatration all the time, because she was so small blaugh

I haven't had many but I would like to thank Diane and Haliee especially Haliee she taught me so much and helped me do so well in my pageant.

There is one other coach I would like to thank. Even though it pains me to say this but I would like to thank Sheree the drill team instructor for the past year. She prepared me for so much and helped me understand things. But the thing she prepared me most for was disappointment and how people truly are in this world. I want her to thank her. Once she told me "If you ever came to practice upset I would know the worl was falling apart" and she tore my world apart. Even through everything she put me through I still would like to thank her

A tribute to my favorite and best teachers:
Teacher Jennifer, she's been there for me and was my first ever teacher, when I was 3. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have made Pointe, then been motivated to join company and become an assistant! She's no longer teaching, she decided to go to school to beome a paramedic. She's so sweet, bless her soul. I heart you Jennifer!
Miss Melanie, I've been going to her dance school since I was 3. She's supported me and gotten me into more than just ballet. I still go to her dance school, and she still motivates me to do great things.
Miss Sharon, I've only been dancing with her since Jennifer left, so this is the third year now. She has helped me improve SO much, been my first company teacher, Pointe teacher, and I loved assisting her. I look forward to many years of dance with her.
I have had some wonderful dance teachers. heart
