it's still a work in progress:

-2006 motion graphic demo reel

it's mostly stuff that we've done during the course of this year (since this is the first official year i've started working freelance) with some of the clients that we get. we're supposed to be putting out a 3d demo reel in addition to this motion graphics one.

maya, max, photoshop, flash, after effects...list goes on.

here's the 3d one...mostly old stuff but there are a few new bits that we did this year. mix of max and maya; the bf likes the former, i like using the latter.

Very professional. Wow! I'm impressed.

No s**t, that's so professional! At first, I thought it was one of those ad thingies that sometimes play before the real video.
I'm jealous of your talents.

i really wonder how i will ever get from where i am with my art now to where you are with yours. i'm determined to make a respectable career from my art but a little overwhelmed at the same time with making decisions on how to get there.

really nice stuff, very polished.

even now i'm always constantly feeling overwhelmed with decisions on where to go next. when i graduated with my earlier demo reel one of my teachers said that the problem with my stuff is that it looks too polished and it makes it difficult for potential employers to want to hire me. and hearing that really frightened me. and he was right. so as a way to make ends meet i contributed a bit with my bf with freelancing gigs. eventually we've branched ourselves away from making websites into more of doing motion graphics...which still touches on the area i majored in but i never really thought about wanting to do this the moment i got out of school.

i think right now a lot of the things i do has happened because of luck, since this was something i've never actively pursued.

i'm tempted to say to be optimistic and work hard and all that, even though that sounds like a crock of s**t. my experience has always been that if you really push yourself to do the best you can on everything, keep improving with every piece and keep self-critiquing...that your work will get noticed. by both amateurs and professionals looking to hire.

You are officially one of my favorite artists. I really want to study your work now. I love how well you use movement in your work. It seems to have so much momentum but still keeps a sense of balance. Amazing work!

less new stuff, but there's a few nonetheless.

thank you lucki for your comment. the bf helps a lot with the pacing when it comes to joint effort like this, since it's easy to critique from another perspective, hehehe. he's into music and timing our work to a song is one of his specialities...i'm more along the line of conceptualizing and presentation.
