I believe I've already stated in your other thread exactly why you should not hate Kanan for the things she percieved as the correct course. And all after this post should understand that Kanan was physically, mentally, and emotionally traumatized by what the Centipede Demon did to her. Therefore, she could easily plead legal insanity when she killed herself when standing before whatever higher power she believed in (which was obviously the Christan God, but back to the point). She did NOT leave Gonou to suffer. She believed he'd be better off without the taint that was her. She had no way to predict that he'd be traumatized by this act for she certainly didn't have all her screws firmly tightened. Do NOT claim that she did wrong. Lay that blame at Chin Yisou's father's doorstep.

I think she is okay... You dont see her too much and all you see of her is the stupid stuff she did. I am sure I would hate her if she had not died... which sounds very.... mean but its true. But for now I think Kanan is an okay character.

Impulsive Priestess I think she is okay... You dont see her too much and all you see of her is the stupid stuff she did. I am sure I would hate her if she had not died... which sounds very.... mean but its true. But for now I think Kanan is an okay character. : D For the most part I agree...I dislike her too...but I don't mind her and Gonou being together.

Just think, if she didn't do what she did, there would be no Hakkai. =[ He wouldn't have the life he has now with Sanzo, Gojyo, and Goku. There would be no story.

D : No, those are the reasons why we DO dislike her... She 'ruined' Gonou's happy life...he may LOOK happy...but poor Hakkai does get sad too... U.U;; We should all hug him. Gomen, but I dislike Kannan and no amount of evidence is changing my mind (but don't tell Hakkai, I'd hate to make him even more sad then he already is).

Gonou + Kanan = heart Which I have no problem with
Gonou + dead Kanan = crying Which makes Hakkai
Hakkai = biggrin but...
Hakkai + bad memories = emo And that's where my hatrid of Kanan lies
Does that make any sense?

I really don't hate her, I'm more neutral toward her character. I know she was traumatized when she took her own life, but I don't think that was the answer. Well whatever the case, she isn't around anymore save for the occasional flash backs.
