CourseworkThis semester, I was taking these courses:Math 203: Contemporary Math; MWF; 10:30 - 11:20
Bad, bad class. Source of much angst. Very unpleasant. Etc.
Japanese 101: Beginning Japanese; MTWRF; 12:30 - 1:20
Favorite class, by far. Classmates rocked, sensei rocked, everything just kicked a**. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. I just took the final. :<
Music for Non-Majors: History of Rock Music; TR; 9:30 - 10:45
A good class, but harder than I thought it'd be. Lots of memorization. Which I am not good at. This class is finished: I ended up with a B+.
Geography 140: Introduction to Human Geography; TR; 3:30 - 4:45
I swear this class NEVER went its full scheduled time.
Political Science 160: International Relations; R; 6:30 - 9:20
Night classes are almost always unpleasant. This one was certainly no exception. Interesting subject material, to be sure, but nearly three hours of it will fry anyone's brain.
Next semester, I have:
Statistics 218: Introduction to Statistics; MWF; 10:00 - 10:50
This one's on East Campus. First time I've ever had a class over there. I'm gonna have to wake up early and ride the bus over. :<
Japanese 102: Beginning Japanese II; MTWRF; 11:30 - 12:20
I hope this class will rock as much as 101. I have a lot of the same classmates, and the same sensei. Here's to hoping.
Music for Non-Majors 276G: The Music Experience; MWF; 1:30 - 2:20
This class is in the building that is probably the farthest you can get from my dorm and still be on City Campus.
History 181: Intro to East Asian Civ; TR; 12:30 - 1:45
...I'm gonna have to book it between this and Japanese. biggrin ;
English 215J: 20th Century Women Writers; TR; 2:00 - 3:15
I honestly took this class JUST because of the professor. I had her for one of my classes last year, and she's great. :3 Unfortunately this means I'll have to read more Willa Cather. gonk
