I have had some kittens killed by some wild tomcats near my house (I live in the country) because of either male competition, or weakness -meaning a female kitten may be unable to produce some kittens someday.
My mom found this adorable stray kitten. She named it Sassy because the kitten wasn't afraid of my dog, Norman, at all. In fact Sassy even tried to rub against the dog. We only had her for a few days when some b***h ran over her and killed her. The b***h didn't even stop to check whether Sassy was alive or to apologize to us.
When I was 12 years old and in 7th grade, my dog, Claire, got cancer and had to be put down to sleep. We never knew she had cancer until she got so thin that we took her to the vet and the vet proclaimed her too weak to live. They did some tests after she died. I wasn't there when Claire died. I was at home crying. She was my first dog, even though I don't really like dogs that much. I got her when I was around 5 or 6.
So, yeah. I know how you feel. sad

none of my pets have had to be put to sleep, but two have died... When I was three, I remember going out searching for my dog Sammy in the middle of the night. (her and her daughter had ran away, her daughter came back) I remember my mom's drunk friend went too. We went driving around, and we stopped at this guys house and he had TONS of chows... My mom's friend accused him of stealing Sammy. The guy called the police. When they came, they were all like, yelling at my mom's friend because he was threatening to kill the chow owner. Then the police saw me in the car and were like,"What's back there?" and shined this big mag-light in the back seat and I had to close and cover my eyes. Turns out that Sammy probly got ran over...
Fats, Sammy's daughter, ran away last year and just never came back. No one saw her, no one new about what happened. I even called the humane society and stuff and they said that if they heard anything about her, they would call... Or if they found a dead chow in the road... They never called... crying

I've had so many kittens that died. But there was this one that my friend named piglet. I loved him.. He was the only kitten that would sit there for hours cuddling with you while all the other cats wanted to play. and he never got any bigger. but after a few months, he just couldnt hold up. He died and it was so sad. we had a burial for him crying ... and i think my dog is going to die soon. ive had her since i was like 5... but no one else cares. my mom doesnt even want her anymore.... ugh crying

But that doesn't make it any easier at the time

But that doesn't make it any easier at the time This is true Any pet is going to die in time The longest houeshold pet to be living i would think would be a horse, and that's iuf you're lucky enough to have one, which could live up to 40 years Or a tortise, 150-200 years! but i duno if many people would have them So yes i'm sorry, i hope it goes well, and you can eventually accept it

I'm sorry to hear about everyone's pets! I know it's hard... I recently lost my dog, who we've had for 3 years. I also lost my cat last year, and I've had her since I was 3! That was really sad, but I know she's feeling better now, so it's okay.

ugg...a couple years ago, my dog was attacked by two bigger/younger dogs. His lungs collapsed & he nearly died. He had a 50/50% chance. I ended up sleeping on the floor with him. Luckily he lived... To a sadder story, this year I had my two pet Gerbils for their third year. I loved them, but i diddnt clean out their cage for thee months ((im uber lazy)) they sufficated & died...it was even worse, because it was two days before my birthday, & i was going through a suicidle faze at the time...I couldnt sleep in my room for over a month. But it will all be better later on. You will get new pets, etc. But it will still hurt...((i had to watch my gerbils sufficate to death, mi drunk mum made me))
