Plot: The invatitons have been sent out for the very next King of Fighters tournament. But problem is the tournament sponser has changed the rules a bit hoping the competors will kill each other so no one will stand in his why when he tries to take command of the city of Southtown and use it as his base of operations. Some competors are using this to finally get rid of the competition forever and some will stand together to fight off this new enemy. But the question still stands: Who will come up on top and take the title of 'King of Fighters'?

Rules:
1)Follow gaia's TOS
2)Swearing is allowed
3)Romance is allowed
4)Literacy - if you are unable to spell a word, put (?) next to it and it will be checked/corrected. Any posts deemed unreadable will be editted to be understandable, continuous unreadable posts will result in bad things. scream
5)Keep the RP tidy, make sure to label your OOC and IC posts
6)PM me profiles, title it 'KOF RP'

Rock walked the streets of Southtown on a what seemed to be a normal day. He got to his apartment just as the 'postman' drove away. He watched the limo fade into the distance and he pulled out the mail they dropped off. Nothing but two letters wrapped in parchment envolops sealed with red wax. Rock took them already knowing what they were. "No doubt what these are." he stated to himself.

At the Ikari Warriors base somewhere in the Brazillian rainforest, the base was in high alert, KoF tournament invites had arrived.
Deep inside, Oro was busy lifting weights, showing off such a muscled body not seen in KoF since the likes of Vice... The flashing lights made her stop and place the dumbells on a rack. She grabs a nearby towel and wipes the sweat off her forehead, wondering what was happening.
The bulky woman wandered down to Heiderns office and pushed through the crowd of soldiers into the room.
Leona: "...sir, that is my request."
Heidern looked up past Leona and gave an uncharacteristic smirk, causing Leona to look back and see Oro, sweaty and smiling.
Heidern: "Ah Oro, you have good timing, the invites for this years King of Fighters tournament have arrived... Leona was re-"
Leona: "I want you in the team."
Scratching her head, Oro shrugs, not really sure why they were so enthusiastic all of a sudden... It didn't feel right...
Oro: "Yes... sir?"
Heidern: "Good. I will be joining you two, meet at the heliport at 0600 tomorrow. Dismissed."
Oro's eyes widened a little, she watched the televised portions of KoF every year, it's been a long time since Heidern had taken part... Leona had a similar reaction, her eyes widened and her head bolted back towards her adoptive father.
Oro and Leona saluted and left the office, gearing up for a flight to Southtown.

Rock looked over his invatation as he left the other one on the counter hoping Terry would eventually swing by and get it. He took a moment to look at it he gave a groan of fustration. "When will that clown ever swing by and pick it up. A phone would be nice at least." he spoke to himself, also considering that there was no one around. He looked over his invation again his eyes spotting the rules section of it. He took the time to notice that some rules were missing and some were added. "This may cause a problem." he stated.

With her feet propped up pn her desk, Dani sits in her chair leaning back lazily. The desk top fan provides her with momentary relief from the heat as it slowly moves through it's course. Jaquelyn lies face down, draped over the desk, her long black hair ruffling each time the fan turns to her.
"Hi-ho!"
A purple and blonde blur bursts into the store. Jenet smiles and flicks back her hair with one hand, holding up three envelopes in the other. Jackie slowly raises her head and groans before colapsing back on to the desk. Dani sits up, and looks closer at the envelopes.
"Invitations!" she cries. She gets out of her chair and leans across the desk, snatching at one of the enevelopes. She quickly tears it open. She begins to read the contents with a big smile that sudenly fades. "Gato? Where's my invitation?" she asks Jenet looking confused.
Jenet smiles nervously and replies sheepishly "Um... these are the best I could do. You will just have to pretend to be them. Jackie, you wrestle like Griffon, so you get his." She starts to hand the envelope to jackie and sees she isn't moving. Jenet puts the envelope on the desk instead. "Don't wory guys, Gato and Griffon aren't comming. We will just tell them you guys are filling in"
Dani sighs and sinks back into her chair. "Oh well. I hope this works"

With Terry once again showing no signs of returning. He sighed and put his jacket back on. He deciced to take a walk. He stopped at the docks and looked out to the ocean. "Well it isn't for another three months. But even still a phone call couldn't kill him." He sighed again. "This is boring."
