Amaterasu sighed in the darkness of her den. The cool rock of her den was always comforting, especially in the African heat. She looked down at her belly. I'm starting to get fat, She thought, frustrated. Now it'd be noticable to both herself and anyone who saw her. Luckily, it wasn't obvious, just noticable. She sighed and got up tiredly. She could still move and run like normal, so she guessed everything would work out nicely. She squinted as she stepped out of her little rock-den into the morning sun. "What adventures await me today?" she asked herself quietly, as she padded out through the grass. Today, she would explore the lands more. She'd never really been into the savannah of the Pridelands.

A young, valiant yellow pelted female had made her way into the lands of the Pridelanders. As morning arrived, she instantly jumped on the opportunity to invade the lands, in search for some misfit trouble as always. It was the only thing that ever kept the little Firekin rolling, and with looking like a Pridelander colour wise, she was instantly accepted. Now she just had to suck it up and act like them temporarily, to gain the trust of a select few.
She scanned the perimeter with her small beaty eyes, in an attempt to spot her first victim. Her maw glistened as she grinned, her teeth showing themselves. Ah hah! A white and black spotted dog-figure was seen at the opening of a generally small den. How pitiful. Well, Kichomo'balia would find a way to entertain herself this morning, aand Maned Wolf was the species of the day. This would be exciting.
Her paws led her into a forward march, as she began heading in the direction of the female wolf. It wouldn't be long now before their fates crossed paths. Her eyes slanted slightly, in an attempt to keep a straight face, but no Firekin could ever smile for long. It was the ill-fated hate in the bloodlines that made most of them similar, only a few were strong enough to break free of the attitude. Although, most enjoyed the menacing, evil doings of their own kin. It would be un-Firekin not to be.

Amaterasu heard some plant snap off to the side and turned. Her silver eyes fell upon a mostly golden lion cub, with hints of red near her paws and on her head. She was still smaller than Amaterasu, but her paws foreshadowed her future size. "Well hello there," Amaterasu said to the approaching cub with a smile. She wondered what the cub was doing out, alone, so early. Something about it made her wonder if the cub was a Pridelander; something was different. Nah, she looked like a pridelander, Ammy wouldn't second-guess her. She had no idea what a firey personality lay within the cub.

As she approached her first victim, she grinned slightly, before turning around to face the dog. Her grin instantly morphed into a happy-giddy Pridelander smile. It was all she could think of. She cleared her throat, in an attempt to make her voice sound less deep.
"Hello, to you as well." She gagged on air to herself, as she looked away in disgust. How annoying. How could anyone possibly be this nice? She shrugged and then looked back, smiling more than ever.
"Its a nice day to be out on a stroll through the lands, don't you agree?" She giggled lightly, trying to make the act seem more realistic. Anyways, it didn't take much effort to fool a Maned Wolf. They were stupid enough, in her eyes.

Something is wrong with this cub. With these circumstances... Amaterasu thought to herself. A doubting expression crossed her face, despite whether she wanted it there or not. Ammy was never very good at covering emotions anyways. However, she'd play around with the cub for a bit; entertain her. "It is a wonderful day for a stroll, but... Shouldn't you have a parent or sibling with you this early? Or are you lost?" Amaterasu asked.

Kichomo'balia simply looked away, content at the morning air. "Lost? ... ... " The young firekin hissed under her breath, madly. "Oh, no! I just ... wanted to get away." Her eyes slanted with sadness, as she peered over the horizon. "My parents don't care for me much at all. I'm on my own now, and my sister is nowhere to be found. ... I lost them when we were traveling through the lands." She was extremely good at lying, and this was just like any other time.
"Anyways, if your too busy -- i'll just go walk by myself. If anything, I need to go find food. I'm starving."

Amaterasu's face contorted with sympathy. "You poor thing," Ammy said quietly. The cub had her hook line and sinker. "I'm not busy at all! Do you want to get some food first? Or maybe some water?" Ammy asked her. The poor cub! What horrible parents! There must truly be a few rotten individuals that live in the Pridelands. I knew something was wrong! Ammy thought to herself. "Come on, let's go find some food, yeah?" Amaterasu said to the cub as she started off, checking over her shoulder to make sure the cub was following.
