i have lawn seats, because i am a broke child. but hey, i mean, i have no curfew, so bus stalking is in order. i WILL hug brian molko.... besides, i wouldn't want to be confined to a seat for a concert... its a concert, you gotta' jump around like a moron.
i might have to get seats to see the cure up close in october, though. its the effing CURE.

My favorite band came to Vancouver ONCE in the 12 or so years of them touring (Blind Guardian) and I was going to buy a ticket and get a bus ride down there. Then prolly stay in a hotel, and you know what my mother did?!
She told me I couldn't go.
I sat and cried in my room (Literally) this band is what really turned me on to music.

i can really only go so often nowadays because i'm legally an adult, and, well, going to school in san francisco puts me right in the center of all the good music. i still missed out on the fratellis, though, twice, and thats annoying. but i am getting to see placebo on all their meds touring, and that makes me happy. i feel your pain, though, sef. the day the first tickets i was ever able to get to see one of my favorite bands of all time (afi) was the same day they announced that the rest of the tour was cancelled, their singer had serious throat problems and had to get surgery. i cried like a baby over that.

Someone understands!
Although, I should probably mention that Blind Guardian is German and that was there first concert ever in Canada (save for one performance.. somewhere in Ontario..)
And they came to *MY* major city..
But I can't complain, Judas Priest and Anthrax (It was funny.. There was like no one there) did show up in my little town of 30,000 people.
I remember when that concert got cancelled. I thought it was funny, but now I feel your pain.
