I'm sure some of you have heard already.

James was a close personal friend of mine and my family's. He was a brilliant journalist and editor, as well as a devoted father and husband. He and I always talked about doing a podcast together, but we always put it off for one reason or another.

James' podcasts will serve as an ongoing memory to his life and work, and preserve his spirit and voice forever. I'll miss him greatly, and I urge anyone who read his articles or listened to his podcasts to Send their condolences to his family.

My boss and I were talking about the whole incident during work and how the whole thing just must've sucked.

James, although not here on this Earth now, will always be remembered and praised for his efforts and endeavors to try and save his family. Although not of this Earth, he will be rewarded for his valor.
