Welcome to the role plaing fourm! In this forum, users can use their imaginations to dream up roleplays. Roleplays in this forum range from fun and laidback, to serious and long running. There are a wide variety of RPs a person can attend! But you must remember, every Role Playing thread has their own forum rules to abide by. The roleplaying thread also has to abide by the rules of GAIA Online.

Also, there is no spam allowed in this forum, at all. If you feel the need to spam, please relocate yourself to the Chatterbox forum.
Things That Aren't Allowed On Gaia Online
Spamming outside the Chatterbox Forum is not allowed. Coming into someone's RP to bump or spam useless nonsense (jibberish & images not related to RP) is disrespecting their Role Play and the users. (Solely bumping in Barton Town is considered spam. If you need to bump your roleplay, please roleplay in it. ^_^)
Roleplays that encourage sexually explicit content or place characters in sexually explicit situations are not allowed anywhere on Gaia Online. This not only refers threads that contain cybering, but to slave roleplays as well. Any thread posted in the role playing sub fourm or any of its subforums has to follow the PG-13 rule that has been put forth for Gaia Online. Also, you may not encourage others to "take it to PMs" for the more serious stuff. Please read the Terms Of Service for more information about the PG-13 rule, as well as the Slave Roleplay part of this thread for more information about slave roleplays.
Being abusive towards another player out or in character with excessively vulgar use of words with intent to harm, insult, or post racial comments towards another user(s) after being asked to stop by the user(s).
Being harassive towards another user(s) out or in character after being asked to stop by the user(s).
Stalking another user(s) or thread(s) after being asked to stop.
Suicide encouragement.
Repeatedly spamming a particular thread/forum.
When should I directly PM a moderator?
Here are some examples:
Jesusbots
Normal bots
Serial spammers
People posting offensive images
People spamming off-site advertisement
People scam spamming
Slave threads; How can we roleplay them here?
this is the only forum where slave roleplays are accepted. However, that does not mean there are no rules.
All slave roleplays must adhere to Gaia's PG-13 limit.
There is to be no abuse, physical or sexual.
Slave roleplays may, under no circumstances, tell other users to "take it to PMs".
Creators must encourage following Gaia's ToS and the forum rules. If a users are posting stuff that is violating the ToS, then the thread must be removed from the forum.
Any abuse of these rules will not be tolerated.
