obito uchiha was battling kakashi and kakashi damaged his eye so he used a jutsu to give him one of his eye!

Almost any hardcore Kakashi fan (or anyone who just reads the manga) knows this. Its a middle fact about kakashi(what I mean about middle is that about half of the people know it)

huh? What do you mean he was fighting Obito? That didnt happen... highlight below for the spoiler:
- He and his team were fighting in a war against the village of the stone I believe. Kakashi had just acheived the rank of Jounin at the age of 13 but instead of having a ceremony thing, Kakashi was just given a small exchange of gifts. He got a medical pack from Rin and a special kunai from his sensei, Yondaime. As for Obito, he gave Kakashi nothing. Yondaime then said that Kakashi was in charge and left to go and help out some other leaf shinobi while giving Kakashi, Rin and Obito a mission to blow something up or something.... cant really remember. They then ran into some enemy shinobi and Kakashi told Obi and Rin to go ahead while he was going to test out his new jutsu... it was either Raikiri or Chidori. Well... it didnt work because he couldnt see well and I think the other ninja attempted to cut Kakashi in half, missing and ended up damaging his eye. Then Yondaime came to the rescue. Rin then fixed Kaka's eye but he could no longer see out of it and he was allowed to cancel the mission but he said no. Later on... Rin was kidnapped. [Uh oh!] Obito wanted to go after her and save her but Kakashi refused. [ Little Kakashi was so mean!] They then got into a fight and Obito was just going to go on by himself. Before leaving he then mentioned things about Kakashi's father... the White Fang and how he had been a 'disgrace'. THen mentioning that Kakashi's dad was a hero. Then came the well known line 'Those who dont follow rules are trash... but those who dont look after their friends are even lower then that.' He then left Kakashi alone and went off to save Rin. Lalalalalalalala... story goes on... Rin's stuck in a whole, Obito reaches to help her. Then the 'evil' shinobi do something to him to make him fall in the hole with her or something... Then Kakashi kills them I think and he goes to help them. He reaches for them but then another shinobi uses a jutsu to make the rocks start to collaps to crush the three, then Obito forces Rin up to Kakashi, getting crushed... Errr... no that's not right... hmm... Something about the shinobi of the rock village trying to crush Kakashi but then Obito pushed him out of the way? I can only remember vaguely... havnt read it since the summer. Well anyway. What can be remembered for sure is that Obito was crushed completely by a rock except for half of his body and he then told Kakashi he was sorry and things like that. He then said, 'Oh... and I havnt given you your gift yet... take my eye and it will help you.' or something like that. He was hesitant at first then nodding and Rin used her medical skills to implant Obito's eye into Kakashi's blind eye... -
That's how he got the sharingan!!! Amazing!!! Also very sad...

He got it when he, his friend, and his girlfriend were in a cave and kakashi hurt his eye. His friend gave kakashi one of his eyes and he used chidori to get out of the cave. His friend and girlfriend died.

This is how Kakashi-san actually got it: Kakashi and his friend were battling this guy (i know no names) and his friendhad gotten hurt during the fight, badly i might add, afterthe enemy nin theywere fighting had died Kakashi-san's friend had given him his left eye then Kakashi-san's friend died..... cry

During a battle Kakashi had taken severe damage to his left eye, and as the battle went on, Kakashi's fried Obito pushed Kakashi out of the way of impending danger, and as a result, Obito was badly injured. The injuries were fatal, and before Obito died, a special jutsu was preformed and Obito gave Kakashi his Sharingan *from his left eye*.... shortly after the transfer was complete, Obito died from his injuries.
