Here are a couple more I found for Texas that I thought were interesting...
San Antonio:
It is illegal to urinate on the Alamo.
(This is true... the Alamo is a sacred Texas memorial... they're VERY strict about how people conduct themselves there... also you're not allowed to take photographs or videos while inside the Alamo... you can be charged a fine for it. (I have a picture of me and my ex outside the Alamo... I wasn't leaving there without at least ONE picture! And it was the only picture that was allowed to be taken.))
Temple:
Cattle thieves may be hanged on the spot.
(This one is somewhat true too... I haven't heard of any news of anyone thieving a cow and being hung... but from what I understand, hanging for cattle theft is still being used.)
Texarkana:
Owners of horses may not ride them at night without tail lights.
(This one tickles me... I can just see some ole redneck saying "Hey Bob, let's shove a lightbulb up Trigger's a**". rofl )
