Have you ever seen a shadow and thought it looked very different than what was casting it? What about had a prank pulled on you that felt very much real? Maybe your imagination's just running wild or... ninja
I look in the mirrror, and what do I see:
A whole 'nother being just like me.
I knew he's not real, but what if he was?
Think of all the trouble we'd cause!
My quest is for the spirit of Illusion IotS.
The Spirit
Name: Tomas Ainsley
Gender: Male
Spirit: Illusion
skintone: cream-yellowish
Hair: Undecided (Either light lavender or white)
Eyes: Yellow
Distinguishing markings: Mostly, the swirly marks on his cheeks until teen-stage when they fade away.
Personality: Bouncy, hyper and vibrant: this one certainly knows how to be the center of attention. The one thing that he avoids like the plague is boredom- idle hands make for tools of impish delight at the expense of others.
Likes: Vests, jackets, and hats- anything out of the ordinary that would make him all the more unique.
Anything to confuse others.
Haunted Houses
Strawberry tarts & lemon merangue
Dislikes: Stuffy formal wear.
Plain, monochromatic colors- unless it's black and white
Sitting still for a long time.
Carrots and Asparagus.
Fun Facts: This little spirit's favorite trick is to make a doppleganger out of his own shadow to pretend he has a twin. No shadow is safe from this little spirit who can manipulate them into something else. Anything from taking the shadow of a bird and turning it into a dragon, or manipulating his own shadow into a duplicate of himself- the limit of what he can make depends on the mass of the shadow. So a rock's shadow couldn't turn into a castle.

Distinguishing features:
History: A Professor of folklore and cryptozology, it's a fairly good guess to say that he's been laughed at before. But when you try to prove the existance of certain mythological animals that's probably to be expected. However, just because he deals with such oddities doesn't mean he believes in every one of the stories he comes across. Tomas is a constant study for him, and he certainly seems to be taking his research seriously.
Persona: Not easy to surprise and normally a clear thinker. Always curious about new things and ways to learn more about any given topic of interest.
Likes: Classical Music, Mythology, ancient civilizations
Dislikes: Rap music, narrowmindedness, lack of imagination

If there's one thing I've known about Gaia it's that if you have some worthless 100gold item, in a few years, that'll go up. Thus: Letter hoarding! =D That's not to say I wouldn't end up broke and start auctioning art for gold to finance this little undertaking. ninja
Since my funds tend to be split up between my general wants and funding for prizes for my own shop's contests, it may take a while. ^^;

I think with an illusion spirit, you might want to have him be a bit of a prankster or someone who stands out, but only when he wants to. As a "master of illusion", he could be devious or at least a little mischievous. I picture a jester hat on him for some reason. ;D Good luck!

Definately a prankster XD but i'm not sure about the spirit's back-story. ^^; then again, there's lots of trickster spirits, like Loki and Puck. =P
